Looks a lot better than the first trailer, but that first trailer was awful, so this still lands in the complete centre of 'Meh', but also a lot better than the Ten Rings.

Next Marvel I'm looking forward to is Doctor Strange. I think I've hit the point where these are feeling stale and a bit generic now.

This trailer was better, but the Deviants (or whatever those monsters are) look like Final Fantasy video game monsters. CG like that always takes me out of a film, but I'll watch it on streaming and see if the story's any good.

The water monster didn’t do it for me but Selma and Angelina look cool.

Were we supposed to "laugh" at the end? Was that funny in some way that I'm not aware of?

I bet the handful of people that actually see this trailer in cinemas WILL laugh, because they're been trained like Pavlovian dogs to react the same way to every trailer that all follow the same formula with the slow establishing shots, and mysterious music slowing building to BWAAAAHHMMMM.........BWAAAAAAAAHHHMMMM.....and then the know that after the movie logo they get to see something "silly" so they laugh. Even though "dur, he broke table cause he strong" is about as funny as Urkel slipping on a banana peel, because they've been trained by Hollywood they'll go "LOL, strong man funnee...movie GOOD..."

Obviously you knew I was going to detest whatever footage they show, but at this point all I see is naked contempt for the consoomers. Just "here's more product, ********....we know how you like it....LOTS of rubbery space monsters and crumbling scenery and no practical effects and it looks and sounds like every other movie for the last 20 years....come on jerkoffs, come CONSOOOOOOM!!!"

Also, why in the world would they have a little boy/girl character that's supposed to be immortal? Didn't they learn anything from Stranger Things or the Stark kids? Unless that kid is fully CGI, how is he/she gonna be in the hoped for sequels and spin-offs?

And that's the old Otomofan take. If you're ever having TOO good a day, and really wanna grump things up and have me piss in your cheerios, you know where to find me. I'm always here, ready to hate everything I see.

Humour is subjective my guy. You don’t seem very fun :lol

The actors look like they are going with the cardboard Captain Marvel acting. Some interesting cinematography using scale, but pass for me. That leaked plot line seems to still hold true.

"We were here to protect, but only for a certain thing. Protect what you love." What?

It could be a good film, I'm not holding up on it, though. Oblivion looked like it could be good, the cinematography in that was nice also, but the actual film was as bland as this film looks.

Visually this kinda looks like Justice League to me lol
Surely not ZSJL - there were actually some vibrant colors in this lol....

:chase

Selma? Did they shoot some of this in Alabama? Oh wait, you meant Salma Hayek. 🤭

Go to 2:16 when you see whoever that is jumping, it's a straight up DCEU kind of shot.
With super powered beings there's bound to be similarities. I don't think there are distinctive MCU and DCEU ways of jumping. :lol If you're referring to the composition of the shot I don't see it, but then it was only on screen for a fraction of a second.

It's difficult to describe what I'm trying to describe, the DCEU movies just have a certain look and feel to them, and this has that. And I hate the way those movies look, they just look off.

This looks terrible. Long gone are the days where fancy visuals are enough to get me into the theater. There wasn't a single character that I found endearing or interesting. GOTG I liked everybody from the first preview.
