In his first appearance in a Capcom fighting game, Marvel Super Heroes, he was the end boss and had the Infinity Gauntlet. It has gems that control all time, space, power, reality, mind, and soul. Basically, he controls all there is, so if he wants to throw bubbles and head ram, he can.

In MvC2, he is pretty much a straight port of Marvel Super Heroes, hence the same attacks.

so they are actually revealing some non silhouette characters right? I don't remember seeing Thor in the silhouette before, even though we all sort of knew it would happen. I like Capcom's boldness in selecting characters from their own franchise. We just need to see the same thing with the Marvel roster. So far Thor and Deadpool are cool additions, but 90% of the Marvel roster is just the same old same old. Capcom is so "outside the box" with their own franchise and so conservative with the Marvel side it makes me mad I want to see Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, Ms Marvel, or even Emma and Kitty Pryde!!

yeah...that fight was hard..I remember that one. I beat him with iron man at the arcade

I'd really love to see punisher get some love in this game.but that's very unlikely seeing how he's not even in the marvel ultimate alliance games. He would be a great counterpart to chris with all his weaponry

Before Ennis got his hands on the character, Castle was an EXTREMELY proficient martial artist who could hang with the likes of Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Wolverine.

Even in a losing battle, the Punisher was highly adept at many forms of hand-to-hand combat.

Then Ennis threw it out the window - where its been ever since.

Don't get me wrong, the action, speed, colors, special effects and gameplay looks bad ass, I just wish that it was Marvel vs DC, made by Capcom

Sorry, I meant in the comics. I don't recall any of his special attacks in one of the "Vs games" being used in the comics (current). Thats why I was asking what type of attacks he uses when fighting in the comics.

I know it won't be...but still. I'll have to do some major "suspending of belief" if I see Ryu beating Surfer.

That's very cool. I went ahead and looked up on this article, it also mentions that Silver surfer has a unique playstyle where he's always floating on his board and never actually walks on the ground. Also it mentions that there are four characters from the Fantastic Four comics so far; Dr. Doom, Silver Surfer, Super-Skrull, and the last boss which is also going to be from FF which hasn't been unveiled yet. My guess from that is that it's going to be Galactus
