BTw, in the training mode, how do I make my opponents fight me? They just stand there looking all pretty and menacing!

Hit start. It should have those options in the menu that pops up. Haven't looked yet, so can't comment specifically.

Nice sanwa is the best I don't know how people use the controller fight games are so much easier with a fight stick if you take the time to use one. I play on the marvel vs capcom tournament edition stick

Tinkering around with the game (with what little leisure time I have this week) I think I've decided on my mains for the time being:

main: Dante/Haggar/Deadpool or Wesker.
secondary/cheap: Sentinel/Arthur/Magneto

Haggar's jump-in assist is mighty as heck.
