Absolutely freaking spectacular blows away the other two shows.

The 2 of them were mesmerizing to watch freaking spectacular acting supported by spectacular writing!

Amazing start.
Agreed, but

if the variant that Loki is going to help the TVA hunt is another version of Loki, then it seems obvious that he only exists because Mobius intervened at his sentencing after they nabbed him for his timeline violating Tesseract escape. Prior to that everything he did was as the Time Keepers laid out in the "sacred timeline", so he's got to be using the TVA's own tech to jump through time....right?

p.s. - Time travel stories give me a headache! :lol

Well its either gotta be that or the whole Loki being ***/gender fluid, which shouldn’t be an issue for anyone that knows about Norse Mythology and the character of Loki.
That was certainly making it's way around the internet, like it's a big deal and that it will stir people up. He is a shapeshifter not an asexual being. He did impersonate Sif so I don't get the big deal. Clicks for websites I suppose.

Plenty of episodes left to ruin the show. Remember FWS started this way and went down hill. Got to stick the landing.

It’s unfortunate for those who read the spoiler because that was actually the big emotional turning point for episode one.

You needed to experience that spoiler in the context of the story.

You big dummies lol

I hope to feel the same way as Jye and I hope it can maintain that to the end.

Some screengrabs I've seen on twitter are certainly tantalizing

The trailers looked terrible to me, and from what I've read of reviews from the 1st 2 episodes, this already sounds terrible. The TVA is a stupid concept. Even more so than time travel. If you're gonna use time travel, then it needs to be a one and done scenario. This is copying the CW's DC Legends Of Tomorrow, which is unwatchable for me after the 1st season was merely ok.

Concepts like this just makes everything that has happened in the MCU meaningless and trivial. I hate shows that make jokes of previous emotional events. Like the opening of TLJ with Luke tossing the Saber over his shoulder as the end of TFA built it up to be a big emotional payoff, while RJ says nah and tries to get a laugh.

After reading reviews and spoilers this is an easy pass till all the episodes have aired. And only then I'll maybe watch it if as a whole it has any meaning.

For a 'normal' audience it may appear fresh or mind-bending but so far I'm just seeing endless recycled tropes. The teaser at the end does have a somewhat intriguing premise.

It also reminds me HEAVILY of Umbrella Academy.

I'm sure I'm less forgiving after TFWS fiasco, but I'll stick with it for an episode or two, see if they achieve lift-off.

I do agree that it trivializes a lot of what came before and is currently sitting in Harry Potter territory.

Until the introduce the next big bad that makes Thanos looks like a *****, I’m not really interested in much from the MCU now.

No Way Home has my interest because I’ve loved Spidey all my life.
Love & Thunder because Taika is an insanely talented filmmaker.

Don’t judge it by reading a synopsis and spoilers because what might sound trivial on paper can be engaging when translated to film.
