Including this, I haven't watched any Disney stuff since finishing Andor but reading the spoilers what are the chances it is a fakeout like what happened to Fury in TWS? I don't know how the scene played out so I'm just asking.

Off topic but I’d Jeremy renner dead? Why is is he treading everywhere?

Edit. Nvm it’s just people trolling

Ok first two episodes but nothing special. Too many plot twists and spoiler filled moments and it lacks the sophistication of a really good espionage show but Cheadle was particularly great in that second episode on top of the always can’t give a bad performance Mendelsohn.

The British lady is also great.

I thought episode 2 was a huge step up in quality. Mendo is so great whenever he is on screen, Olivia Colman is delightfully evil torturing people, and it was great seeing Rhodey face off with Fury.

So far it’s of a lot more substance than most of the others. Hawkeye was hard to watch until kingpin showed up. Moon knight was damn near unwatchable across the board. Falcon was on, I liked wandavision and she hulk because they were really original and the little ms marvel thing… well just no

The issue with these series are thst you have mediocrity stretched across way too many episodes

It’s not that secret invasion was bad it’s just slow and boring as hell much like Andor.

Good casting ok plot, it looks good it’s just trying to squeeze water from a stone… it’s just too much it’s too forced. It’s a plat that deserves to be put into two hours not 10. If you’re going to do a show it needs to take place over time, things need to happen, characters need to develop

Take some of the best shows of all time. I bet that even the sopranos would be a bit dull if one season took place over the span of a couple days

Funny considering it's probably the best acted and most interestingly plotted show (other than the first 3 episodes of wandavision) that they've done so far :lol

The first three episodes have had surprisingly high-impact conclusions so far. The villain is considerably ruthless and the stakes are rather high. I dunno, I plan on sticking with the show (great cast) but I'm not 100% enthralled so far.

I'm watching it for Mendo but I must say Gravik is a good villain. His accent is all over the place though, a bit of Liverpool and Aussie thrown in.

I expect Talos to be dead by the end. Seems like they're building to it with near misses in every episode, and he's doing most of the legwork.

Initially I expected
him to die early on but after it was alluded to by the female Skrull who set up his meeting with Gravik I figured it was a misdirect. Still, killing off Emilia Clarke's G'iah in episode 3 was a bit of a surprise. I'm very much looking forward to this bringing the "Krennic" out of Talos now.

It was also cool to hear that much of Fury's success (& mystique) was a result of his use of Talos and his secret, off-books Skrull spy ring. It adds further fuel to Gravik's fire over feeling betrayed by Fury. That said, I'm also wondering if Priscilla may have been (a) grooming Gravik since Day 1 and (b) playing the long game, orchestrating the invasion right under Fury's nose initially, then accelerating it while he was off-world. It would be a nice twist, the ultimate spy being hoodwinked like that.
