Well, it’ll pass Jurassic World today or tomorrow and it’ll pass Titanic by the end of the week to become the third-biggest domestic earner of all time. It’ll pass the $1.277 billion total of Frozen in a few days to enter the top-ten among all global grossers, at least until Avengers: Infinity War butts in accordingly. It’ll move its way up the “leggiest $100m+ openers” list and will try to end its run with at least $687m, making it inflation-adjusted bigger than Batman (The Dark Knight) and bigger than James Bond (Thunderball’s $65m gross in 1965 would be $786m today).

I have no strong feelings toward BP one way or another. Thought it had a great cast who made the most of what was given them but was an otherwise "meh" movie. And I'll never complain about a movie knocking Titanic down a notch, lol.

Yeah i’m no BP’s Adolfo lol

Movie was middle of the road MCU for me BUT had I been black it would definately be a significant movie for me nonetheless.

I can fully respect and champion that aspect of it.

Racist jye over and out.

I'm still curious to see how this one holds up for me on repeat viewings. For all I know it could end up being one of those films that falls apart completely the second time around. But for now it's in my top 5 MCU.

I'm just taking over the role of BP defender since SNIKT is no longer with us. :lol

Let me compare BP to JL and Thor 3 for a second because I saw all of them twice in the cinema.

BP stayed the same on the 2nd if didn’t improve or get worse, it stayed a 7.0.

Thor 3 also stayed the same on 2nd viewing it didn’t improve or get worse. it stayed a 7.5.

JL went from a 5 to a 3 lol

It's just so freaking bad, lol. JL is kind of like the lost Schumacher sequel that was never filmed, you know if he had made a sequel to B&R that continued the downward spiral of the Bat-franchise in the 90's. Now I feel like I know what Batman Triumphant might have been like, lol.

So true

This.

Again, I felt this way when Pretty Woman and Home Alone got into the Top 10 back in 1990-1991.

I was like -- Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?

I know several people for whom PW is still their favorite movie, and people have deep nostalgia for HA and kids today still love it the first time they see it. Go figure. For me that movie is Prince of Tides.:dunno

I haven't seen it yet... so, what makes it Schumacher - "something" anatomical sculpted onto the crotch armor this time?:lol

If Thor 3 is in your top 3 MCU and you gave it a 7.5, then what did you give TWS and Civil Bore?

Sorry it's just that I expected a higher score for something in a top 3 list. :lol

You must be thinking of someone else because Thor 3 was never and will never be in my top 3 MCU list

Top 3 MCU
1. TWS
2. CW
3. Avengers

Top 3 cinematic experiences:
1. ANH
2. ESB
3. Avengers

Phew, I was worried for a while there. Ragnarok is fun (at times) but it's no Avengers.

Still can't believe how high CW is on that list for such a boring film. :lol

I was going to share my top cinematic experiences too but decided not to when all that comes to mind are about two movies. :lol
