I can't wait for Lady Apocalypse and Lady Kingpin :drool

:rotfl:lol

Well... even though I think the lack of creativity is lame I can understand why they are doing this. When I was young I definitely looked for the ****ies! Now there will be plenty. I think this is one of the reasons I liked X-Men so much... that and their mad skills of kick-assery.

All this and yet they killed Heroes for Hire?!?!?

That was a great book and had lots of T&A.

Ok, here goes:

During the Messiah Complex, Mystique pushed MR. Sinister onto Rogue's bare skin and 'killed' him. However, he had expected this and set up a genetic implant in several powerful mutants (including Prof. X) as a way to transfer his mind into them and allow him to live on. However, the machine that transfers his mind was destroyed by Gambit before the mental transfer was complete and Prof. X pushed Sinister's mind out.

Later, Sebastian Shaw is seen with a MISS Sinister :)monkey4) trying to get Daken to join them. Miss Sinister doesn't seem to know who 'she' is and is more interested in seducing Daken. I didn't pick up the Wolverine issues to finish the cross-over, so I am unsure what happens next.

Overall, I think it is a silly crossover and plot. Scar (I think) said that in the Dark Reign files it shows a picture of Professor X with the famous red diamond on his forehead and the label "Sinister" under him.

Ms. is short for Miss. I think.

That actually is correct. Just like Mrs. is short for missus. Mrs. originated as a contraction of the “Mistress” but in the split into “Mrs” for married women and “Miss” for unmarried women began during the 17th century

Can't find anything online yet. I'll scan it tonight and PM you if I can't find one by then.

You rock sir.

As for all of this stuff, too many cooks in the Kitchen. Marvel needs to do what they did in the past which is to kill all books except for two from each hero and then allow their writers to rotate evenly. It was working for a minute until the expansionists got their way again. Just wait until the Cap movie and Avengers, I guarantee two or three offshoot titles after those hit.

You are correct your definition of Ms, but not in Rizzo's level of correctness.

Ms. was the catch all for women of both married and unmarried status. It split into Mrs. for married and Miss for unmarried. Ms. was later revived during the 1970's as a safe way to mail things to women without offending by mistaking thier marital status. So, all Miss can be refered to as Ms., but not all Ms. can be refered to as Miss. Therefore they are not actually equivalent.

So FQRizzo's statement "Ms. is short for Miss. I think" is not technically incorrect, it IS innacurate since Ms. is short for both Mrs. AND Miss. Had he said Ms. CAN be short for a Miss he would have been fine. In the words of Clinton "It depends on what the definition of IS is"

Also, I was just giving my buddy FQRizzo a hard time. :lol

The Bronze Age goes from early 1970s to the mid-1980s. The Modern Age goes from mid 1980s most often set in 1986 with the introduction of Watchmen and the John Byrne Man of Steel reinvention of Superman.

Ah, thanks. Wonder what they'll call the next age. :lol

Sorry but I don't follow marvel comic books. Only seen the cartoons as a kid and collected trading cards. So when did these marvel girls started appearing or is it just happening now?

Huh...guess I can't put a picture in the spoilers.

Already PM'd him. Sucks you can't do that though.

Thank you both. I appreciate it. The sad thing is I don't hate it especially since its an addition and not exactly a replacement like the others. Its about time she joined Rhodey and Tony.

Oh....and I'd definitely buy a Comiquette of it. :lol

which is? I don't read thor currently. been too busy over the past year reading EVERYTHING x-men from issue 1, on. this includes xfactor, x force, cable, wolverine, etc. Just now getting to civil war.

it's ALOT of comics

Unless I missed the explination somewhere here is a brief summary.

When Thor came back to earth he began searching for the other Asgard God's who were trapped in human bodies and releasing them. He didn't appear to plan on bringing back Loki as he was taking his time brining the Gods back. Thor brings Loki back while serching for Lady Siff, Loki claims of course that she/he has changed and will no longer be up to his..her old tricks. Skipping over lots of stuff here but this is all part of a grand Scheme of Loki's to kill Thor, he is actually using Lady Siff's body who is trapped inside a dying elderly woman. He is in fact still a man he's just a man wearing a woman's body. So when its all said and done Loki will be Loki again and not female Loki.
