-I am trying to figure out what the hexagonal shapes all mean. A few things that are hexagonal: The mind stone drawn on the magic cabinet, the hex, and a bees honeycomb. Likely a reference all to the mind stone/vision as the source of everything.
-I still think Nightmare could be the villain, but it also could just be Wanda herself. In trying to reanimate vision with her powers, she might have accidentally created her own bootleg infinity stone.

I hope it's not Wanda who is the adversary. That's not very multiversey...

I think it is. But she opens the door, sort of like Hellboy. She tears open a rift that allows in horrors from another dimension. Dr. Strange basically has cthulu like enemies as well as demons.

In my opinion, Wanda tried to create a mind stone and when it went wrong, exploded, and trapped a hole town inside of it. The mind stone has basically the energies of a galaxy, and she got in over her head. Wanda has enough powers subconsciously to keep it the gem contained to the size of a town...for now. In doing so, it used her subconscious desires to reshape the town and put them under mind control. Vision is free to operate while inside the bubble, but leave and he has no more access to mind stone energy.

The series might end with Wanda also creating something like nightmare, putting all the mind stones energies and her dark desires out of her into a vessel, that takes life.

I'm thinking along those lines as well.

I think it's a guarantee that she and Vision will be made. I do wonder if Vision will get a human sculpt?

Will we get a black and white figure too? :rotfl

I know that when Derrickson was still lined up to direct DS2, he wanted Nightmare as the villain. Since it seems like he was on for a good amount of preproduction, I like to think he would be the villain and that the verse to Nightmare is opened at some point. I haven't watched nor care to, but like to keep up with everyone's opinions and observations!

Not sure if serious...

But, without having seen it, I'll concede WandaVision looks unique and different compared to *any* other superhero property. But then it's easier to take risks with minor characters.

Also not too hyped about the multiverse plans from either studio, it all feels like callbacks for the sake of it. If you must have parallel universes, invent some new ones rather than dredging up the old.

I mean that?s what the Snyder cut is doing. Dragging a failed movie and trying to polish it into something better. Atleast Wanda vision is new material .

Once you see the face, it makes your realize all the commercials have baked into it clues upon clues. Show is a work of art.

Yeah some have theorized, in addition to representing traumatic events in Wanda's life, the commercials also represent...

The Infinity Stones:
- The toaster's blinking red light is the mind stone.
- The watch is the time stone
- The Hydra Soak soap is the Tesseract
- The spilled juice in the paper towel commercial is the Aether/Reality Stone.

Oh really? That was the point I was leading too. Here are a couple of insane, but plausible thoughts I had:

- Wanda exhibits powers similar to the commercials in that specific episode. Whether is rewinding time, or altering reality by creating a dog collar or recasting her brother.
-Wanda's neighbors are talking, and seem to want to say something to Vision since he seems to be able to relate to their condition. The neighbor almost says everybody here is...I think they are saying they are dead. Whatever happened in the hex killed everybody, but it also brought them back to life...along with Vision. That is the dark truth. Only Wanda or those that re-enter the hex are truly living. Those that died from the Hex being created cannot leave it and survive.
-There are no children because this town was never a town. It was a research facility similar to Area 51, where only adults live. Their NJ licenses are fake identities. They were trying to recreate the infinity stones. Possibly when Wanda rescued vision, she was captured and brought here for experimentation.
-Vision works at computational services, which is likely an oversimplified way of saying Artifical intelligence research or A.I.M. This building likely was some sort of place working on advanced subjects, and now vision works here ironically.

Wasn't a lot of that negated by the last episode though?

The town is real enough to be in the maps and to be remembered by Jimmy Woo. He even said he sent someone in witness protection to hide in that town. Also there are signs leading to the town so this town was likely a real town.

Vision waking up Norm makes me think the townsfolk (at least at the time before they got trapped there) were alive. Either that, or they died and that was Norm's last memory. I think they know they are trapped, and they seem to "wake up" from their "sitcom personas" whenever Wanda is distracted:
- Wanda is distracted by Vision's boss' questions and when he chokes, his wife almost breaks character to plead for Wanda to stop.
- Wanda is distracted by the radio so Dottie wakes up.
- Wanda is distracted by childbirth so Herb "glitches"
- Wanda is distracted by Geraldine, so Herb almost tells Vision what's going on.

The lack of children is a good question though. If Wanda just took over a town like that, surely there are kids somewhere there? But it seems like that now that Wanda is aware of the lack of children, it looks like they are bringing children into the town. Check out the trailer where Vision is out trick or treating in his comic book costume. In the background you can see children.

Some thoughts:

-Norm is woken up and in panic mode, he doesn't even know quite where he is. He is having a full panic attack, he isn't going to think or act rationally for a little bit.
-Jimmy Woo said that anybody that knew anybody in that town had their minds impacted, but why didn't he? His mind has to have been impacted in some way, and I think that is the real hint here.
-The police and Jimmy are drinking at points in the show the same coffee cups. This might indicate they under the same influence.
-If there were sword members in Westview area, then most of the people sitting just outside the hex right now would have their memories impacted.
-When Norm connects to his email, he got a SWORD email. It is because he is a SWORD employee, and that building he is in is some research facility.
-Dottie, the 'Queen bee' with her yellow roses and woman who wear flowers is def. a nod to A.I.M, those beekeepers. Dottie expects almost a nazi like routine.
-Agnes I think is following her instincts to help Wanda.
-Remember what the acting director of Sword said....the blip caused him to lose a lot of good people, and the rest were to demotivated to continue...it seems he may have had to reach out to more 'motivated' parties to continue research. Which is why SWORD went from being Sentient Worlds to Sentient Weapons....something more akin to AIM.

Interesting thoughts. I do think that

We are likely to get something like AIM (or even Ten Rings) meddling like you said than the currently popular Mephisto theory.

I am hopelessly out of my depth since I don't know any of the lore, but as far as I'm concerned, this show is the most interesting thing to come out of the MCU so far.
I'm really enjoying it.

Yeah, this show to me feels a lot like the MCU's version of the Outer limits. The nods to the fans and artistry involved is very impressive.

What makes Marvel so good is Feige really is like one of us running the whole thing. Not only does he have expectations on quality, he plays the long game, and slowly keeps taking chances. He is the one that thought of the concept of WandaVision and proposed it to the actors before getting writers together.

I really appreciate this. This is one of the few positives with having Marvel backed up by the financing of Disney. Long form movie design, high-budget TV shows, ability to bring in creative people. Sure not everything works out 100%, but even Mike Trout doesn't bat 400.
