Yeah, he lived in the 80s, which is when this sitcom episode takes place, so ...

Yeah, it's definitely picked up in these past couples episodes. I enjoyed the opening episodes for what they were, but as soon as they pulled back the curtain in episode 4 that became the meat of the show. Now whenever there are sit-commy parts I'm just waiting for things to get weird or cut back to the outside world and thankfully this episode had quite a bit of that. Though it does make it a little choppy at parts but for the most part it's done in a creative way. Quite excited to see where this goes now and I am definitely more invested than before.

Okay so the ending of this past episode is fantastic as has already been said. I thought it was great how it has Wanda and Vision arguing, Wanda brings up the end credits but then the scene keeps running. A bit of a fourth wall break but done in a creative way. I thought it was great.

Then of course the ending appearance of Quicksilver, but the one from the X-Men films. A big move. Kevin Feige really wasn't kidding when he said these shows will be impacting the films. Of course this opens up an entire can of worms and I am very interested to see how they explain this. I am expecting that WandaVision is going to be our big intro to the multiverse, which can lead to all sorts of awesome shenanigans including obviously Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Would maybe even explain stuff like JJJ in Far From Home as that movie takes place after WandaVision in the timeline. The question is, did Wanda bring Quicksilver in or some other entity?

Also, does anybody think they could be setting up Wanda to actually be a villain of sorts? She definitely acted especially aggressive when she confronted the SWORD squad (though some have speculated that's not even her!). I think it would actually be really cool if she becomes the villain for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. WandaVision seems to be setting up Wanda's access to the multiverse; I could totally see Strange chasing her throughout the multiverse to stop her.

Okay lastly, that "aerospace engineer" has got to be someone significant. Whether it's a character we know or something crazy like Reed Richards, IDK but yet another reason to keep tuning in.

I find myself going back in my head to that bit where 2 characters talk about Wanda almost taking out Thanos by herself VS Captain Marvel's efforts against him - thought that was a bit silly. Did CNN have cameras on the scene? If all they were going on was the reported description of events by the Avengers after the fact I don't think Y character would have the investment such that he'd bother interjecting on X character with ''well, actually I think you'll find that Captain Marvel.........'' etc etc. I dunno, it came across a bit too much like they saw the movie and were shipping their favourite character.

I don't think he's QS though. That version of QS existed at an earlier time right? He'd be old by the time WandaVision is set in. I'm guessing he's a random guy who lives in that town too.

The Fox-men movies paid no heed to having their cast look anything like the supposed age they were. And maybe there's a time travel element to the multiverse shenanigans they're going to pull in the MCU anyway.

So...

The dude at Visions job says "She's in my head"...I'm wondering, and probably a long shot, could "she" be referring to Emma Frost being the one in control here? I am definitely in the this ain't all Wanda camp, but I'm trying to think what other females with powers could "she" be referring to if it's not Wanda?

I’m guessing stories were told lol

People are calling this the
71 billion dollar Fox purchase cameo lol

Nope probably Ralph and his witch Agnes or Dottie or both

It's an intriguing show. The "Dottie is the key to everything" line and...
Agnes asking if she should redo her lines after Vision basically says don't touch my kids have me thinking one of them is the "she" Viz' coworker is talking about. I just can't go through my mental Marvel wiki on what other female has that power and is a villain fast enough lol

It?s funny cause the non mcu marvel movies on Disney plus are categorized as legacy movies.

Great point

Also who was the aerospace engineer that Monica eluded to

Hmmm

most people seem to be suggesting Reed Richards

Another theory says it could be

Riri Williams, aka Ironheart. She's set to have her own Disney+ show not too far down the road and apparently has already been cast. And it makes sense that Monica would take an interest in a brilliant young black girl....but then Monica's being snapped out of existence for 5 years probably makes that a bit of a long shot.

I am guessing that the Avengers facility isn't really that far off civilization, there were probably other witnesses to the event. Or, the ensuing government investigations would detail what happened in that battle.

Yeah, I can't imagine governments would sit back and say "Wow, good thing the Avengers handled that. Let's go get shwarma."

Either one of these 3:

1: There is no evil force (ie; Memphisto) controlling Wanda and Wanda has a split personality of being Wanda AND also being Agnes/Dottie/Ralph/Kids/Pietro and Wanda will be the villain in the DS movie

2: There is an evil force controlling her and still makes her the villain in the DS movie

3: Ultron is back and imbedded a control chip in her I know dumb lol and still makes her the villain in the DS movie

No matter what is revealed though she will still be the villain in the DS movie but will that now be disappointing

And the government probably had a spy satellite or two tasked with keeping tabs on the Avengers facility.

With him being FBI and also connected with SWORD I can see him hearing stories told by the other Avengers of CM tactics which would probably be confirmed by satellite imagery that YES she fought Thanos for at least 1 minute before being knocked down lol

As did Wanda and Thor/IM/Cap

I just binge watched the first 5 episodes (I skipped watching it until now.) One of the better things Marvel has put out in my opinion. I am very entertained and puzzled by what is going on. Def. has a super-hero Truman Show thing going on.

Lets call it as it is...the show is poor.

Seriously?? :slap :lol

I thought you didn't go into Marvel Threads and talk about things you don't like?

However you feel, I think most would agree that this show is far more interesting, unique and different than Zack Snyder's JL...

But it's all good. Glad to hear your opinion. :duff Differing views make for better discussions.
