Be nice if FedEx could give me some consistency...have to leave for work and now no one will be around to sign for MJ. Great.

I was going to take one, but it pissed me off that they didn't put it in a protective plastic sleeve, so I put it away.

...yeah. I was surprised too to find out that it wasn't covered with plastic but it's cool, the poster is fine. No damage at all.

Howdy, everyone. Newbie here and here's my first post. Been a collector for a very long time. Received this awesome statue yesterday and thought about exchanging it because of the eye. But seems like the lazy eye is the norm so this #57 is here to stay.

Do all of them have the lazy eye? IMO, thats terrible. It could also effect the price of the maquette on the market.

sure does. The more people complain about it the lower the secondary market price will be. Although I am not selling mine, I'm just throwing it out there, fyi.

Hey Kaza :welcome

I've seen you and your extensive collection (which is awesome) over at Statue Forum! Yeah, lazy eye sucks, but I'm having mine fixed by one of our resident wizards with a paint brush, so it's all good!

Thanks for the welcome, guys (and kudos too). I'd like to fix the eye on mine too, but it doesn't really bother me that much so it's going to stay the way it is.

:monkey2The interesting thing would be if that all had the Lazy Eye....even with the Buffy, were there a few that made it out without the eye or at least not as severe of one? I don't have the skills to fix my own so I guess it'll stay as is.....praying that a few come with less severe eye issues....

Someone over at statue forum claimed they received one (#75) with no lazy eye. There's no pics though.

If there are some without the Lazy Eye then you have a real issue here in considering the Secondary Market. If they all have the eye then you'd have a drop considerably for collectors looking towards eBay. If some have it but some don't then you have the crap shoot of buying sealed but you have those that are checked and photographed sending the value of correct ones really high making it difficult for collectors to go back and nab this if they want non Google Eyed ones...
