Dude, am I pissed, mine did not have any such page. it had the booklet, the ad for other games and that was it....

Thanks, gezzus.....

Ok, saw a pic on the other boards. Its a separate voucher card with a pic of it and everything. I am going to Hulk out

Oh man, that sucks. I think I read the thread you started on the Bioware forums. Like some of the members there have said, I think you should contact EA/Bioware. Hopefully you can work it out.

Thanks, yeah. I cant believe it. That is my thread on the Bioware site. The last guy cracked me up, he posted ' Fight for the Lost...armor card.' Too funny! It sucks, but I know it'll get resolved...

The funny part, I almost opened my game in the store for fear of something like this, but you know what? i would still not have known a voucher was included. when the back says 'in game' I took it way, way too literally.

I sent Bioware an email - not sure if its the right area. I'll call Gamestop tomorrow on the off chance they have some left - even then they made look at me like ' ah, one of those types trying to get two codes'

Right now, I am Fighting for the LOST....Sanity!!!!

Thanks again, Plasmid for the help!

No problem, man. Speaking of the Bioware forums. That place is full of venom. I can't believe the rapidity of new threads created. And most of it are full of whining.

I also don't like the fact that you can't remove the helmets from the DLC armors. It's definitely going to reduce the chances of me using them in the game since I won't be able to see Shepard's face. They should have done what they did with Dragon Age: have the characters don the helmets during gameplay and select cutscenes, but remove them during any and all interactions.

Speaking of Shepard's face, I didn't like how my ME1 Shepard looked when porting her over to ME2. I mean, she looked the same, but there was something off about her - her cheeks seemed sunken in, but it was probably due to the facial template I used in ME1. I ended up playing about an hour before deciding to start over and redo her face, tweaking it so she still looked like my character while fixing the little details that were bothering me. Sucks, because I probably spent an extra 45 minutes just obsessing over that.

She's looking much better now, but the one thing I regret is that my ME1 character (and the port) has SUPER bright green eyes which I loved, but ME2 didn't have that same bright color :banghead

yeah, its pretty bad. Here i was all pumped for this game when i got home from work (played an hour last night) and made the mistake of thinking people would be excited and posting interesting threads. RPG fans are pretty damn A..L!

Not sure about the eye color, but my female shep looks pretty much the same! Which surprised me...figured she would look a bit different. My ME1 version did have a scar down her eye that is now missing, but given the plot of what shes (he's) been doing for two years, it makes perfect sense that the character will look close but not totally identicial

so your not able to change the character at all if you import the ME1 character? was kinda hoping for some changes but none at all is a little sadden.

Yes, I agree. However, sadly I feel as though I might agree with some of the complaints, though it doesn't inspire in me nearly the same level of nerd-rage.

No, you can. when i ported mine over, it gives you three options....man custom, woman custom or the exisitng version. I took that to mean that your ME 1 Shep can: now change sex, change sex appearance or stay the same...

Someone correct me if off

No, I have some concerns. The mini games seem deeply tedious, no mako (really?!?!?), and the simplified squad menus come to mind for me. I loved that ME1 had like 10 - 12 categories where I could assign skill points. Right now, ME2 has about half as many options.

Anyone else port over a Level 60 character? When i did so for mine, i gained 100k points (money) and started as a Level 5 Vanguard for ME2...does that mesh with everyone else's experience?

On a side (unrelated) note: finally scored some Dr peppers with Shepard on the front...you can redeem for in game items. As of tonight, ME2 is not on the 'game selection' list

Yeah, I started with the nice bonuses. I ended the first game with a lvl 60 too.

I hope the game opens up later, it feels a bit linear and a lot of the RPG elements seem either a bit light or completely missing. I've only played for about 5 hours though.

You got me beat - just an hour or less in....the 'no Collector' armor issue kinda took the wind out of my sails, so I took tonight off, aside from downloading the other armors codes I aquired....the Dragon's Age one looks pretty 'out there' but I dig it...

Sad thing is, I'm not even using the DLC armors. Not being able to take off the helmets is a big detraction. Watching Shepherd take a drink with a helmet on is about as distracting as it gets.

Just an update from my ME1 issues. I rented the game from Blockbuster and luckily my save was right before the end boss. I beat the boss and hit B when the credits started. I then turned off ME1, loaded ME2, and there was my character for import.

Let's just say I'm a bit happy.

Did you guys know it costs almost $9.00 to rent a game nowadays? Holy crap!! It was less than $5.00 the last time I rented a game.

My character imported awesomely too. It was actually cool to see ME1 again before I played ME2. That game was SUPER grainy but the models were amazing. ME2's characters aren't much of an upgrade model-wise but the engine seems to make them less jaggy and clean. Also the only things on my character that didn't import were the 2 scars on her face. I guess that was because ME2 seems to have some kind of "dark-jedi" facial scarring in the game.

Same here they look cool but I wish the helmets were removable.

As for the game itself I am kind of let down by some things like the very limited skill set for your character and the bullet upgrades from the first game are now part of your skill sets. Some things I do like is how now your team lockers are all connected to one individual locker where you can equip them, scanning a planet for minerals was pretty cool and I cant wait to see what else I can find on them. I can see why people on the Bioware forums are upset it is like they took all the great rpg aspects of the first one and dummied them down or took them completely out but I am not ready to give up on this game yet.

That's right. When I redid my character's appearance, I imported her first, then they give you an option to change her face and class. You have to stay the same sex and have the same back story as the ME1 character though.

Oh man, that sucks. price increases like that really make Gamefly a good option (If you play a lot of games and play through them really quickly)

Since the Mako was the worst part of the first game and almost universally hated, I'm not sure why you'd be surprised it's gone. Not having to waste hours with that piece of crap is awesome.

But yeah, ME2 is more streamlined. Less chance of making a crappy character that way. Which does give a bit less freedom, but it's not so bad, you can add on optional skills later on.

I got home late like at midnight and I was tired as hell but as soon as i popped it in, i played till light 3:35 am lol! There will be minor spoilers but its only for the beginning of the game. Okay here we go, my initial impressons:

Presentation is top notch, from the cut scenes in the beginning especially the part where u have to space walk through the bridge to get to joker was awesome! Sound effects for the guns now are awesome, very sci-fi sounding and all the beeps and boops are cool as well.

I was supprised to find out that i like Jacob a lot more than I would, he's a way better character to me then kaidan(Carth!!:drool) was. Miranda got the hot accent and ****s so its all good and shes better looking than ashley as well.

Kelly Chambers, yer assisstant, i like as well for obvious reasons :naughty:naughty:naughty

So far it seems that they have replaced the Mako segments with driving the normandy which im cool with. The mini games are better this time around too, no more stupid OTEs

Storywise is cool too, working for Cerberus is a nice change but im still mad they killed Admiral Kahoku :mad, but it's funny that Shepard is very non-chanlant at times about coming back to life but I like it.

Last before I gotta get back to work, the game has more polish and is very sleek, but I miss them elevators :(

Any way, I'd like to hear ppls opinions especially the vets who've beaten ME1 multiple times and know the universe and the game very well.
