Just finished installing it. Man, I can't say that I miss Windows. Is anyone else having problems logging into the Cerberus Network that you NEED to register just to unlock the included downloadble content??

I just went through the B.S. process of creating an account, downloading all the stuff, installing them, only to get a message that it "cannot validate my account" because its having problems logging in.

Does you EA account email address differ from the one you use on LIVE? Mine are the same for both, and was able to activate it without issue. I have been to Masseffect.com and many are having your issue. There is a way to link the two, but since at work, I dont have access to those forums right now

I haven't had the opportunity to play, let alone install the game yet, but I've been browsing through the official Bioware/ME2 forums and there seems to be talk of issues logging into the Cerberus network on both the PC and Xbox side, though it seems this is affecting PC users more.

We’re aware that some PC Collectors’ Edition Cerberus Codes are not working. If you have the number 1688108 on the bottom right of your Cerberus Network card and have not associated it to your EA Online account at 4:00 PM PST (7:00 PM East Time) your codes will be fully functional. If you already have associated it to your EA Online account at 6:00 PM PST (9:00 PM East Time) you can restart the game and your Cerberus Account will be available automatically!

They're working on the problems now. Hopefully they'll all be ironed out by the time I get home later today.

Excited Mass Effect 2 players this morning were likely dismayed to find that some of BioWare's much hyped Cerberus Network DLC had missed it's scheduled launch day release. Unfortunately, BioWare has informed forum members at their community site that Xbox 360 gamers would have to wait a day or two longer, due to some technical issues with the content. This comes after a whoopsie moment on the Xbox Live Marketplace yesterday morning that made all of the Mass Effect 2 pre-order content available for free to anyone who was able to get to it before it was subsequently removed. From BioWare's forum:

Sorry all, we've had some delays with Zaeed. Your cerberus account should still be able to access normandy crash.



This isn't the first DLC issue BioWare has had this month, as their recent "Return to Ostagar" DLC release for Dragon Age: Origins was pulled from Xbox Live after less than 24 hours online due to unspecified bugs. We'll give our hands-on impressions of the Zaeed DLC once it becomes available.

I've read on gamefaqs that this is a common issue. Something about rebeating the final boss. I don't understand because I have 3 saves. 1 of them should be the final save.

Just doesn't make sense. Now I don't even want to play the ____ing game anymore.

The game autosaves after you finish it. The ME2 save game importer only recognizes those final autosaves. You probably need to fire up ME1, beat the final boss again, and then fire up ME2 and try the save game import again.

I'm not sure why some people are encountering this problem while others aren't. Did you move the save files in any way?

No, I didn't do anything. So it's using the new save that knows you beat the game? I'm sure it's there because I didn't start replaying the game or anything.

Also, I don't have ME1 anymore. So...

When was the last time you played Mass Effect 1?

I haven't played GTAIV for a long time and the other day I tried playing it and it couldn't load any of my saves. So perhaps the save is corrupted.
