Ashley in ME3

I also noticed no mention of Thane. :cuss I hope he didn't die from his illness. :(

Hopefully you'll be able to mix and match teammates.
Dream squad:Shepard,Wrex and Grunt.
"Bend over Reapers and grab yer virtual ankles, this is gonna hurt."

In the blurry text of the scan above it reads that "all the main characters will likely return...", the list just contains the characters Game Informer saw when they saw the game in development.

In any case, Mordin, Garrus and Liara are there so I'm happy. I hope Jack doesn't make it back. Did not like her.

The main ones I want back are Thane, Grunt, Garrus, Mordin, Legion and Miranda. I had the perfect team in game 2 ...I would be more than happy to have them all back at my side.

Legion really got short changed in the game because of his late intro into the mix.
I was hoping a dedicated dlc would come in the interim but sadly no.
:monkey2

Wrex > Grunt.

Grunt >>>>>>>>>>>>> Wrex :lol

I found Grunt to be hilarious and almost child like with his personality. He would get so pleased during times when those planted memories would come back to him. It was like watching a kid in a candy store...he made me laugh a lot.

Wrex is a great warrior - but I still prefer Grunt, myself.

I agree...a dedicated dlc would have been nice. I can't wait to see what happens in game 3 with our decision regarding the heretics. I saved them.

I blowed em up good.:hi5:

Hey, someone's gotta make the hard decisions.
I also gave the Reaper base to the Illusive man.:monkey3

:horror:horror You are a bad, bad man.

Though I will probably play again and do just that just to see what happens in ME3. :lol

:horror:horror You are a bad, bad man.

Bad is relative given the circumstances of the game.
Logic alone dictated my actions.
To wit:The Geth had proven the to be enemies in the past and a stumbling block to the alliance and Tali's flotila.
Legion couldnt guaranty that the Geth collective wouldnt attack again.
I couldnt allow the Geth to be used by the Reapers again to bolster their
invasion or allow a second separate front of a coming war that would drain alliance resources.
The Geth had (ahem) reaped what they had sown by attacking us in the first place.
I couldnt gamble that the Geth would some how be grateful for sparring them and become allies.
But hopefully Talis people will be able to help in the coming war with out having to contend with the Geth.

Giving the Reaper base to Illusive man was a no brainer imo.
Who has the best resources to capitalize off captured Reaper tech?
Martin Sheen er, the Illusive man/Cerebus.
We are going to need that edge in a war. Fire with fire.
Do I fully trust Cerebus?:cuckoo:
No.
But any other plans they may have for the tech and its uses are a distant second to defeating the Reapers.
Illusive Man isnt stupid.
Any other plans evil or other wise are moot in the face of a the coming invasion.
I'm sure there will a mission or 2 where Shepard and crew have to clean up the mess a Cerebus team will make with the advanced tech.

I like the grief that I got from every single teammate about handing the base over to Cerebus:
"Geez Shepard I cant believe you gave it to them" Hello! I got us this far, how about a little benefit of the doubt here!:dunno

I saved the heretics because I believe they only become our enemies when they became infected with the virus. Having their memory swiped will hopefully take care of that and they will be good allies. Is there a guarantee...no. But I wanted to give them a chance.

As far as Tali and the Flotilla - what happened with them and the Geth reminded me of Battlestar Galactica....essentially AI made to do slave labor who developed their own consciousness. In BSG - In the end I felt for them...even if they weren't technically human - they had many human qualities with fears, hopes and dreams. I ended up feeling the same way about the Geth after hearing Legion's story.

And I feel we need all the allies we can get to fight the Reapers. If everyone is at risk - perhaps Tali and the others will be willing to fight alongside the Geth, once they realize we are all fighting the same fight for survival. Perhaps then they can come to terms with eachother and find a way to peacefully coexist and allow the flotilla to go back to their home planet.

The Illusive Man and Cerebus are pro-human. They have very little regard for other alien races. I wouldn't put it past them to use that technology and make other reapers - except instead of a human Reaper like the Collectors made - it could be ones made from other alien races to use in battle. I felt that we would lose the trust of needed allies giving the humans and especially Cerberus that technology. Cerberus is still going to help and finance whatever we need to win this war. They may not be happy with our choice - but they are not going to risk destruction of humankind by turning their backs on Shepherd and his/her crew.

Anyway - that's my feeling on it. Perhaps I'm too much of an optimist that when it comes to fighting a common enemy - humans, geth and all alien races can put aside their differences and fight together. And in the end hopefully have respect for all those that fought or gave their lives in battle and be able to coexist together.

To me this game wasn't about humans saving the day so all other alien races will respect us. It was about all of us working together to reach a common goal. Only then will we all get along with respect for each other.
If I am completely wrong - well, I'll just play the game again differently. :)

I did lose Miranda on my mission as well as most of the Normandy crew because I waited to long to assault the base.
I wanted to make sure we were fully upgraded etc. but it cost me.
Dont really miss Miranda.
She was an ungrateful and unreasonable beeotch regarding Jack.
I helped her save her sister and then she's up in my grill about Jack.
I didnt romance her anywhoo, I stayed true to my alliance girlfriend who also turned out to be an unreasonable emotionally overwrought beeotch.:gah:
However, had I figured away to shoot a full spread of photon torpedoes into the Justicar I wouldve, she was definately my type physically and philosophically.:monkey5

I was a female Shepherd so no romancing Miranda....I didn't particularly care for her character - she could be a pain in the ass - but after I full upgraded her - she was great in battle and complimented Mordin or Grunt well.

In game one I was with Kaiden - but I didn't stay faithful..I didn't really care for him as a character much and only got with him for the achievement. :lol In game 2, I picked Thane, so I hope he survives and we see him in game 3. If I find out he died from his illness before a cure could be found I will be bummed.
