Mass Effect for PS3

Thought I'd create a new thread for fellow PS3 gamers as I'm sure the other Mass Effect threads are overflowing with spoilers about the series and who wants that.

The Mass Effect series is coming to the PS3 in 2011! As is well known Mass Effect 2 is a different experience for players based on in-game decisions made during the original Mass Effect. For, I'm sure, legal reasons, the original Mass Effect ain't coming over to PS3. So to make up for that, Mass Effect 2 for PS3 is coming with an "interactive comic" that will cover the same ground and allow for players to make the plot point decisions that alter the course of ME 2 and 3. Having played ME for PC, I'm pretty psyched as I can jump over from PC to PS3 and after playing it I can redo decisions and play it again without having to replay the original from scratch.

finished it on 360 might play it again on ps3.
mass effect series is just amazing.

Yeah, still among my absolutely fav series of all time....replaying ME1 for 4th time, and about to replay ME2......

Ive read two out of the three books and the comic mini series.....

Probably gonna get this on PS3, though the 360 version still looks nicer overall.

I'm currently playing Mass Effect and I love it.

I already have ME2 and some of the dlc waiting to be played as soon as I finish the first game.

THe choices you make in the first truly affect the experience in the second....mostly the people that appear in ME2

I suspect the ME3 Engine is the ME2 engine, tweaked. Changes are changes, though. Naughty Dog used the same engine for Uncharted 1 and 2, and the changes were pretty amazing

Well of course it's the Unreal Engine 3

Since ME2 came out they've done a lot of updates to the engine, I'm sure ME3 will show those changes.

Played the demo...........overall looks pretty good. A little jittery compared to the 360 version, but not bad at all.

Playing this for my 2nd time ever on the 360 and forgot how massive this game really is, content wise....if anyone hasnt played this and has a PS3, I highly recommend it.

I am a slow gamer, but my first game final save was 43 hours! And that wasnt with any current DLC....I expect my 2nd game to top 50 hours......lord, almost so massive, it can be daunting!
