Yeah Beast Man has loose knees...
I have some extra Grayskull stands if you need some!

The pegs are the main issue, but in any case, I'll contact you once I get more MOTUC figs. At the moment, I have just enough to support my current collection.

I say Mini comic Granamyr, red, and X-Large (green looks good too, but I favor the cartoon look for my MOTU).

In the last 4 monthly slots (sept-dec) in the Q/A Toyguru said we are getting at least one Master------calling Fisto

1.NA Galactic Protector (Flipshot)
2.likely a POP (Glimmer)
3.likely 200x character (Evil seed maybe,unsure yet)
4.A Master character (Fisto)

I'll take any and all of those, please!

Don't remember that dragon guy from either the comics or the cartoon, but he's pretty cool. That'd be just like Matty to do up one version (red?) for the website and have the other (green?) for SDCC.

FYI from Facebook........unbelievable,now Mattycollector is shipping small orders in bubble mailers. Not only they are charging more shipping, but putting orders in bubble mailers like toys r us does?Dont count on getting your MOC figure mint!

Testing, Testing… Subscriptions have started shipping & you’ll notice we’re trying out new bubble mailer packaging for smaller orders. All test shipments went through with flying colors -- let us know if your packages arrive okay, too.

They really need to go back to UPS shipping...and let the custumer have a choice which shipping service they want

I think Mattel said that the SDCC exclusive would have the same deco for Matty, just differen bios. IF they preview Granamyr, it would be one of the 4rly beasts methinks.

BTW, found these thanks to PoeGhostal's
funny stuff!

What does that even mean? If it's only 1 figure I'm sure it would still be in the white mailer box right?....
And that would most likely apply for Ecto-1 subscribers most of the times...

LAME...

Oh well, glad I'm an opener. Sucks for MOC collectors, though.

it means if your ordered 1 or 2 items,it gets crammed in a plastic bubble layered sheet...the only protection its gets is the,not so sturdy, White Mailer that has your MOC figure in....There is no true protection for your MOC figure.Toys R Us does the same thing and ALOT of collectors have voiced complaints about it and even refuse to buy from them online because of it.Any MOC,MIB collector understands this and they want their expensive toys taken care of during shipping

Matty charges us more, but wants to use lesser shipping packing? how can anyone be ok with that?

Just read that there are QC issues with King Hsss and the backward shoulders. Has anybody received theirs with the messed up shoulders? I'm going to pick mine up tomorrow to see if mine have that problem.

Again? What's with Mattel and shoulders???

Yep... just got mine last night, and indeed, they are reversed...
On Roboto it wasn't a big deal, but with Hsss it's very noticeable...
I usually don't like to nitpick figures, but this one is way too obvious...
:gah:

On the other hand BA Skelly is full of win!! Absolutely love it!!
The paintjob on the head is gorgeous! Thinking about getting a second
one an replace my regular Skelly's head with it! :horror

I skipped this month, but it sounds like all the shoulder pieces were incorrectly marked with L and R. I've seen some photos, the scales don't line up and supposedly it hinders the articulation a tad.

I think Matty better start focussing on Vintage only characters, because I dont see this line lasting till 2017 and not having having Fisto,Ram Man,Mekaneck,Jitsu,Spikor,Stinkor,Kobra Kahn etc, would suck...there are ALOT of bent out of shape people over the King Hiss's reverse shoulders and are threatening to not subscribe to the 2012 Sub (uh huh)....we'll see...but apparently the QC is causing an uproar and for almost $30 a figure,I agree every figure should be perfect

Yeah, I don't think that'll happen...
Every so often people threaten to do that, but it won't happen...
and Matty knows it...
I just think that some people at Mattel really want to put the best product out there, but it's easier said than done... they have the know how, but I think as a whole, MOTU is still like the black sheep for Corporate, so the limited resources for the line result in QC issues more often than they should...

EDIT:
Just read TG response @ He-Man.org, I guess I wasn't that far off...

I won't offer excuses folks. This is the first time I've seen this issue as well and I elevated it (once again) to design management (cause frankly this burns me more then anyone since we put so much time into trying to get these guys perfect, kills me when anything is off).

At the end of the day when a line has such a small run like MOTUC these things happen. We do do all we can to catch these and I'm honestly shocked after Roboto that the design team missed this- again. Seriously not happy about this.

We'll keep trying, that is all I can say. And I'm truly sorry another one slipped through the cracks. I wish we had the resources of a large line like Barbie or even DCUC. With MOTUC the production runs are just so small that we make due with the very limited resources we have. Really sucks when they don't come out perfect, but mistakes do happen. I am sorry another one did.

EDIT 2:

Toyguru said:
I'm not trying to make any excuses. The fact that the line has extremely limited resources if just a fact and information I am trying to put out there. You are all 100% correct. For a collector line like this there should not be repetitive errors. And believe me when I am just (if not more) upset over this. Not just because of all the hard work my team puts into this, but as a fan, damn it, I want my figures perfect too!!!!

In the end I do continue to promise to do all we can to keep figured the best they can be. I spoke to Bill and Terry (our designers) and they are going to come up with some new procedures (such as stamping the inside of the shoulders L and R). But they are taking this very seriously. Both were shocked we missed Roboto, but now to miss another is really uncalled for.

I wish there was more I could do. But for now, the best we can do is move forward doing the absolute best we can to make this line the best it can be. I can't change the past, but design takes this very seriously. To them, each figure is a piece of art and they do strive for the best.

-Oh, and just FYI, reveals are not related to "bad news" at all! We reveal new bios as soon as we have a final package image in (especially because we want to get it out there before any Ebay slips like with Hordak).

We did get Catra carded in late last week. We've been holding her for C2E2 t o have some "MOTUC" news since we won't have anything else beyond NYTF to show there.

I won't be there but Danielle (Fan Girl 2.0) and Rhobyn (Girl Wonder) will both be in attendance. Be sure to check out our fan panel too for news on an upcoming DCUC vs. MOTU set!

I completely understand where TG is coming from, and I know that people are upset and most likely want a replacement figure for "free"...
but doing that would definitely take resources from a standard figure and even a bit more to get the problem fixed...
Now, I'm a bit upset too... but if a solution to this type of things threaten the line, I rather look at the big picture than one figure with mistaken shoulders...

Kuzeh,I dont have my Hiss yet,but what is your opinion on the shoulders since you have yours in hand? does it bother you? noticable much?

edit- I read that you are upset some....

noticeable or not, I feel that it's unacceptable for Hsss to have reversed shoulders it was bad the very first time, but a third go around is ridiculous, for the price we pay for these figs QC had better be top notch. I could be slightly forgiving if they were making millions of units and selling them retail, but this is a small amount of products sent to collectors, supposedly focused on detail.

WARNING -RANT!
Give me a break! Once I can believe, twice - I can see only if it happened years later, but three times in the very small life of this set (three years tops); sounds fishy to me.
It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they did it on purpose. They knew everyone would order King Hiss so big profit there. They knew everyone would complain so excuses- excuse- excuses. Down the road a few months, another run of King Hisses, and more big profit because everyone will want to get a correct figure. They did it with He-man, they’ll do it with Roboto, and King Hiss will be next, you’ll see. I bet you Hiss want be the last.

Don’t believe me? How many of us bought more than one of a figure when the ankles where so loose that it couldn’t stand up. Or will buy a new one if the ankles are redesigned and an old figure is re-released with it. After a few figures you’d think they’d redesign it then, but why bother when it makes them money now and assures them of money later.
Don’t get me wrong. I like the majority of the figures, even though I know the game they’re playing. I’ve just been collected figures for more years then some other collectors here have been alive and I’ve seen other company pull other kinds of crap over the years. I just choose to play along; for now.

I really do appreciate ToyGurus remarks and don't see this as a major defect, but the number of these types of mistakes is far too high and many seem to be engineering errors that should have been caught at Mattel. For what is billed as a "collectors line" the attention paid to ensuring quality is absolutely pitiful. I love the 4HM and their work, but I feel they are being shortchanged by Mattel at every turn.
