WARNING -RANT!​

Give me a break! Once I can believe, twice - I can see only if it happened years later, but three times in the very small life of this set (three years tops); sounds fishy to me.
It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they did it on purpose. They knew everyone would order King Hiss so big profit there. They knew everyone would complain so excuses- excuse- excuses. Down the road a few months, another run of King Hisses, and more big profit because everyone will want to get a correct figure. They did it with He-man, they’ll do it with Roboto, and King Hiss will be next, you’ll see. I bet you Hiss want be the last.
Don’t believe me? How many of us bought more than one of a figure when the ankles where so loose that it couldn’t stand up. Or will buy a new one if the ankles are redesigned and an old figure is re-released with it. After a few figures you’d think they’d redesign it then, but why bother when it makes them money now and assures them of money later.
Don’t get me wrong. I like the majority of the figures, even though I know the game they’re playing. I’ve just been collected figures for more years then some other collectors here have been alive and I’ve seen other company pull other kinds of crap over the years. I just choose to play along; for now.

I can see this being a possibility to Milk the profit from the tooling

I have had to replace one figure so far and fix one...and my Roboto has a small crack that didnt bother me too much (but still unacceptable)...thats 3 defective figures for me...plus Hiss coming

I don't think that's the case (though anything is possible). It's just poor QC, despite the fact this is quite possibly the best selling toy line right now, the higher ups at Mattel see it as an online thing and not worthy of the same scrutiny that their retail lines get. their view is "its just a bunch of neckbeards collecting it who cares?"

It's annoying. If I wasn't locked in with a sub, I would have skipped this month.

The threats are already being made...sales of the 2012 Sub may be smaller this year which will likely threatened the longevity of the line...so if thats the case, screw New Adventures Garbage and Most of the POP and give us the Vintage characters before it ends!

POP should be its own seperate sale thing (like the Ghostbusters Sub),that way it makes everyone happy

POP can have their Sub and MOTU gets its own Vintage updates

won't happen and you know it. Masters is such a Niche line/market that this is it. if it fails, it will likely be 10 years, or until a new show, or movie roll out before they try again.

Don't know... the line will go as long as fans support it... but if Matty keeps pissing people off, that might "kill teh lien"
But still, looking at the big picture, this line is kick-ass and I'll support it as long as I can! !

I try to not really get to involved in these kind of debates but I have to say that I really get tired when people say screw NA he-man. Yes it's not vintage but Toyguru said that all reas of he-man would be included in this line not just original MOTU. I respect that you don't like it. But the idea of not getting figures form that era is as upsetting to me as not getting a greyskull. In fact I can kind of live without a greyskull playset, in this line.

PoP and NA are all included, they are not a separate entity that should be excluded because you don't like it. I personally would have liked to see more NA figure before we get obscure 200X figures. I have bought every single he man figure I could find for the last 25 plus years, some people on this board saw my collection before I lost it all. I feel that I can call myself a true fan, not just a bandwagon jumpers like some people out there. I love he-man I always have, and Battle Punching He man from Na was my favorite he man of all time. I love the new line as well and can't wait to see all eras and franchises represented.

Yeah, I don't think that'll happen...
Every so often people threaten to do that, but it won't happen...
and Matty knows it...
I just think that some people at Mattel really want to put the best product out there, but it's easier said than done... they have the know how, but I think as a whole, MOTU is still like the black sheep for Corporate, so the limited resources for the line result in QC issues more often than they should...

I was unaware that the line was about to meet a premature end. I mean do you have some inside info the rest of us don't?

Cuz as far as I know despite the messed up shoulders and weak joints on a few figures this line is still selling strong. Why just because you feel that the vintage line should get all the attention should the rest of us true he-fans that love the whole he man universe should suffer.

That's like saying I only want toylines and tv shows based on G1 Transformers, or that Everything outside of the first 3 star wars movies shouldn't be made.

I'm sorry just because it came from from the orginal line doesn't mean it should come first. I would rather see a Flogg, or Capt. Hydron before I see a mosquitor. (sorry pixel dan.)

As of now,the line isnt going anywhere...its just speculation as there are unsatisfied people with the product and service that we are getting.If the subs back down in sales,who knows,Mattel might say FAIL and make the line shorter than proposed to 2017.Mattel has already pulled the plug on many lines before (see MOTU 200x)

If the line had 2 years left in it,the Vintage Masters deserve ALL the glory to be finished.The New Adventures isnt as popular as you want to believe and there are much more interest and wants from the Vintage line from us Collectors.If you are a true He-Fan,you'd know what universe made the brand what it is...and its not space man He-Man or Princess of power (a line for girls to begin with).

Your welcome to want your Favs in NA,but you are in the Minority and I think if Mattel said 2 years left for the line..they would go out with a bang with the characters that made Masters and your NA would get left out.Heck out of almost 3 years,we only got one NA (Optikk) and while not a bad figure...its not a popular character just like NA as a whole.

his opinion is very valid I just feel like he thinks that all other opinions are second to his. No NA isn't as popular as the rest of MOTU, but you know what 200X isn't as popular either but it gets shown more love.

He can't say "SCREW NA" and not expect to ruffle a few feathers

that is TRUE....200X has some cool new characters which I hope they do add in the line,which they probably will and have gotten to (Carnivus,Marzo etc)
