Yeah, I've noticed that... and judging by the slow sell-outs of the past two figures and even slower for the re-issues, combined with Matty's constant QC issues and poor Customer Service, I'm afraid a lot of fans are jumping ship and Matty is dropping the ball...
Unless they crank it up to 11 @ SDCC, the line is at risk IMO...

I think you're correct. Honestly, I won't be doing the sub again after this year so I won't be renewing mine at Comic-Con this year. I'm starting to phase out this line with the exception of figures I really want. I've pretty much got all of the ones I had as a kid that I really wanted with only a few remaining. Hell, I have even opened the last 10 figures to be honest as I've stored the rest of them as I'm using that display space.

There are still more Key characters to be made
Fisto
Mekaneck
Ram Man
Sorceress
Spikor
Jitsu
Stinkor
Kobra Kahn
Two Bad
Mantenna
on so on......

Ehhh, I'd say a lot of those are fan-favourites, but not "key" characters.

I'm talking about guys like He-Man and Skelly, Battle-Cat, MAA, Teela, Hordak, She-Ra, Beast Man, Mer-Man, Trap-Jaw, and so on. But you're right, those will generate a bit more heat too.

eh, I'd say the only KEY masters we're missing are Ram-man, Meck-a-neck, and Sorceress. As for "bad guys" the only key ones we're missing are Mantenna, and Cobra Khan.

All others are Just gravy at this point.

For reference, my definition of "key" characters are ones that had some cartoon prominance, in either MYP or filmation.

Many of the characters they haven't made yet are still some of the most unique characters from the line.

Saurod you felt like you could start a fire with him if you weren't careful.

Stinkor, literally stunk up the case and all the other figures in it!

Modulok, action figure combined with legos, probably getting him at SDCC though.

Mosquitor, the dude had blood in his chest! Mom's love that!

Extendar, gave kids with the inability of transforming Transformers an easy way to make a little guy into a big guy!

Rio Blast, guns in the chest, in his legs, in his....wonder if this guy was the inspiration for Sex Machine in "From Dusk Till Dawn"

Not to mention Castles which are a key, and cool sets like the Slime Pit.

Still a bunch of stuff on the board.

Hey! Fisto got in a couple episodes in both(Fisto started out bad too)...just as much as Mekaneck...I'd say he need to get made too

Actually he appeared in 4 episodes...
but I say he's a pretty important character...

I mean, how can he not??!!!
horror!

I'm not saying I DON'T want a figure of him. I do. He looks like my dad.
But i still wouldn't consider him a essential, core character.

TBQH, the more i think of it, To me, Neither is Mechaneck ( more a personal favorite) nor man-e-faces.

Somebody over the Matty forums are claiming a leak for one of the SDCC MOTU items (3-pack) which it will be Gwildor,Blade,Sauron

Hmm interesting! Could Mattel have gotten the rights to make figures from the movie and starting it off with a 3 pack?

I still think its the Star Sisters....but I guess we'll see sometime next week

Awesome pics my friend!!! :clap:clap

Since those 3 had vintage figures made, Mattel can do figures of them again without requiring the movie rights...

yeah I know, but thought maybe they aquired the movie rights to do other figures they didnt do in the vintage toy line (like Dolph as He-man and Langella as Skeletor).....maybe the 3 pack would lead it off..just a thought

I'd love a Dolph Lundgren He-Man, Langella Skeletor (both costumes), Teela, Man-At-Arms, a Billy, a Courtney Cox. :lol Ok maybe not the last two. But definitely Principal Strickland.

Man can Mattel get any lower?

"What changed was the third tier characters on second release are not selling as well so we are going to pull back a bit on the number of figs that get a reissue starting in late fall and going into 2012. The more stock we have on hand the higher the storage charge which then gets passes to customers through shipping and handeling. And we want this to be as low as possible."

I can tell you this,I have two subs.2 figures cost $10.55 to ship UPS(previously 8.70)...bought two figures shipped cornerstone Lodgistics...guess what? I paid $10.55 for slower shipping and no delivery date..so how is this new shipping company any cheaper? I want UPS on EVERY order! So now we are paying for storage of figures that do not sell quick and sit in the wharehouse? Wow! Seems like Mattel wants the line to not reach 2017...Nice Mattel!

Wow, what a douchey thing to admit to it's consumers. I mean sure it's business but I'd think they'd keep that hush-hush. The way they treat this line it's as if they're an independant company with no budget.
