Yeah, I quite like all three, as well.

I wonder what all these "four giant huge announcements" are going to be. Things they never planned to do? Could they have changed their minds about Grayskull and maybe Snake Mountain?

Can't imagine anything else that would be considered "giant" at this point. Ram Man?

Big speculation is having rights to the Filmation Characters to produce figures..

A Castle Grayskull set would be a possibility if they are also announcing the MOTU Film...again speculation

Ram Man was hinted as coming sooner than later from Toyguru.. I am thinking a possible 2012 or early 2013 release (revealed at next year's SDCC)

I think were going to see
Granymir the Dragon,Flipshot,Glimmer or Frosta,Fisto,Geldor(Mr.T),Spikor,Evil Seed,Stonedar,Demo-Man

All those would be cool, but the only thing I can see being "giant huge" would be Castle Grayskull.

And maybe the film, I guess. But I was thinking purely in MOTUC terms, which I guess we shouldn't do, seeing as how one of the SDCC exclusives is a friggin' Polly Pocket toy.

Saw the Pixel Dan review on Catra...Mattel FAILS again in QC...Catra's left hand is super soft and her sword is probably the softest plastic they have used yet!

Not sure on why they used it for the sword, but from what I could tell her looks like she has sharps nails on her hand, and it looks like it's in a pose where she could "scratch" someone, so I wonder if that was a safety issue. Other than that I wouldn't call it a fail the figure looks good and I'm looking forward to it. I love to Horde so the more the merrier. Also I get a kick out of the fact her bio ties into NA He-Man. Aside from the giddy-ness I get from that It's a cool way to tie all the continuities together.

One last point on her sword, ya it sucks that it's soft but really how many people are going to be bending it back and forth like that?

please dont defend Mattel using this as a Safety issue.Do you really believe that? This is an Adult Collector's line and there is no excuse for a rubbery hand like that..Do you really believe her tiny little hand will gauge out someone's eye? come on! (mostly Adult's are buying these)
A rubbery hand and plastic man Sword is a Mattel FAIL!! besides that, yeah the figure 'looks' good

Heres the video of Catra for those that havent seen it yet.

Yeah, I agree. It might have been out of the hands of the 4H or MOTUC team in general, but there's no actual law about this sort of thing, or we wouldn't get what we get from Hot Toys, Sideshow, etc. It doesn't sound like a QC issue so far, but that doesn't mean Mattel gets off scott free.

That said, I don't think it's enough to get me all up in arms - I'm not happy about it, but it doesn't seem like a HUGE deal either.

but that WAS the reason that Bow's weapon didn't have a string already tied on because safety laws prohibited it. I wasn't that that was the reason, just a theory. I'll reserve judgment until I get it hand though. But even if it is super soft as Dprime said it's nothing to get too upset over.

This. This is an ADULT COLLECTOR line. These are not aimed at kiddies. MATTEL needs to make up their mind on what this line is geared too.
