MOTU Mini figures! they look great

i think those look awesome. they kinda capture the look and feel of the older figures in a different way than the classics. i kinda like them more in a weird way. from the variety it looks like alot of the characters are planned.

Also in March is the largest Beast/Multipack item for the year - the Jaw Bridge of Castle Grayskull! First in an annual series to build-up pieces to the mighty fortress of mystery and power!

That's pretty cool that they're selling Castle Grayskull in separate pieces and we get to build it up. I guess we're getting a part of it every year.

also on a side note, looks like the Wind Raider will be $40 in Oct. i hope it comes with that stand but i doubt it:

It's from the description of the 2012 subscription on mattycollector.com, but I'm not sure to be honest.

Not being able to trust information directly from the official source is utterly ridiculous and I think it's also absurd people actually endorse this behavior. Then again, it is MOTU fans, they are notoriously insane. You wouldn't see so many people saying "I think it's hilarious and awesome!" if say, Sideshow announced a list of bogus products just to mess with their customers.

I was just thinking this earlier when I was at the 'org,' only there would people be fapping off about how great it is that Mattel is playing a joke due to their own incompetence.

Seriously, if the first list that 'leaked' was the real one, just leave it. What's with all the secrecy anyway? Most of the He-fans blind by 9 months worth of product anyway.

Mattel like the perpetuate this silly idea that early product announcements are somehow "spoilers". Spoilers for what exactly? The whole idea of spoilers only works in the context of an important part of a narrative being given away without seeing/reading the whole thing.

If it's just a product there's nothing to spoil. You just get the news on a different day. It's like calling seeing a sneak preview of a movie a spoiler.

Personally, I can see the Wind Raider coming with the flight stand (it's just a larger version of the figure flight stands). $40 seems a little steep for it, but I gotta have my Wind Raider (only a couple months to go).
