I actually guessed the big announcement as Castle Grayskull

but clues given (especially based on sales) before indicated that we would not get anymore Vehicles or playsets...

besides,when have you been right? So far my predicted list for 2013 has been true...(I said Hydron,but also said previously it could be Karrati too if you look up past posts)

I also guessed many of 2012 SDCC reveals and past reveals before that too.I said Ram Man which not too many believed

I am usually right ....I pay attention to clues,hints,QnA,and Toyguru spilling the beans all the time (through subtle hints)

next years POP will be Castaspella,Octavia and Madame Razz (plus Netossa)

NA will be Hydron,Skeletor or He-Man,unless they mix it up and do Karatti

Vintage will be Snakeface,Horde Troopers,Two bad,Rio Blast or Clamp Champ (plus Ram Man/Jitsu)

200x will be Lord Dactys

Mini Comics Geldor

Filmation will be Strongarm,Octavia (plus Fangman)

Supposedly the Movie is already Greenlit and is going to be directed by Jon Chu...perhaps things are picking up pace?

Battle Ram would not be a big announcement (latest gooble dinner discussed that Grayskull was much more bigger of interest than the Battle Ram)

I'm excited that Mattel is offering a pre-order for Grayskull and with a $200 price which I think is very reasonable. Hopefully enough fans will step up to make this a reality. It's up to us now.

just a heads up

if everyone that bought a 2013 Sub (the minimum number of the 2013 sub) buys a castle,pre-orders will be a go!

And $200 for Grayskull is quite reasonable I think. I was expecting $300.

$200 still sounds too high to me, not for what Matty can produce them for, $100 to $150 seems more reasonable.

So that TMNT Sewer Lair playset is $120, but it doesn't have much depth to it and the top is pretty much just a cardboard backdrop. Since it's at retail the production run is higher than what Grayskull would be, so the price would be lower. How can you expect Grayskull to come in less than $200? That's like 8 MOTUC figures at 2013 prices. More than fair for a playset in my opinion.

$200 is a great price and would be no different than buying one single Hot Toys 12" figure

the price depends ENTIRELY on what the design looks like. if it's just a nicely sculpted plastic backdrop, it's overpriced.
