the price depends ENTIRELY on what the design looks like. if it's just a nicely sculpted plastic backdrop, it's overpriced.

its being based off the original mark taylor prototype (the original toy) and will be a two-sided facade with all the works inside...

it won't be a 4 sided castle,but similiar to the original toy,but also larger scale to the figures

Castle Grayskull just sets this line up to be one of the 'GREATS' action figure lines of all time!

plus the playset was a huge boost that this line needed

Yeah, this now truly feels like a full fledged end all/be all MOTU toy line instead of just an incomplete "tribute" line of figures only.

I've heard we are currently only at 48%. Soon we'll have 2 youtube videos from Matty plus the Toyguru begging video along with a Facebook petition and multiple posts at the ORG threatening that if they don't get __ many orders that the whole line will be cancelled.

And if you can't tell I'm being sarcastic.

that is true...casting them in proper color is the way to go

I got my sept figures and you definitely can tell where the painted areas are and total FAIL packaging figures holding their weapons.Paint has already rubbed off my Snakemen just by removing the weapons from their hands....black plastic has gotta go now!!!!

I really don't get the Pred vibe from Karatti
I didn't see the Zoloworld figures, when I stopped by their booth I only saw their protective cases. But didn't bother to ask or go back to see if they brought them out.

Personally I haven't had any issues, but I can see it being an issue in the long run...
In any case, TG said that it's 2 separate issues.
One is the Black Plastic cast shared parts. So let's say 3 figures use He-Man's chest, they decided to cast them together and paint them in their respective colors. That saves in production, instead of turning the machines on 3 times, it's only done once.

The 2nd issue is the paint, seems like their vendor is using a different compound of paint and that's why there's been some flaking.
We'll see what happens...
