Yep, those are my only minor complaints. And the hope that the big flat area will be used for something behind the Sorceress. It doesn't seem like the plaque an banner go there.

Honestly the Castle needs a 50% size increase. Unless you invest in a custom or third party version, this is the best we can ever expect to receive from Mattel. Great sculpting though!

The Castle is amazing....I don't understand the whining over its Size

my only concern is hoping that the production piece is close to the prototype,especially in Paint Apps

There are likely going to sell an extra expansion set of pieces as the monsters flooring piece is not part of the whole set and will likely be sold seperately somewhere down the line

Haha, I know right? In this case, the aesthetic shortcoming of CG translates into a practical plus. You win some, you lose some but even at less than optimal size the sculpt is incredible!

Now I'm just speaking for myself, but the ideal CG for me would allow enough clearance for He-Man to ride Battle Cat through the entrance... preferably with sword raised! Of course, Mattel can never make that happen but I'm not going to sit here and say it looks awful. It's a real beaut. I'm just toying around with making a gigantic custom display myself. The minimum I think the castle needs to be for MOTUC is 34 inches.

I was one of the many that was convinced the castle needed to be bigger, and I still kinda am, but seeing it in person is a whole different experience. It's huge and looks great. I'd still like to see it a little bigger but I'm fine if it stays the size it is.

The prototype is very impressively done, and no mistake, but count me amongst the people who think this is just a little bit too small.

I don't really care too much about the entrance, but the clearance height on each of the levels is just a bit too low and cramped looking in my opinion, and personally I think it could have benefited from being a few inches taller, spread out over the first and second levels.

Still, despite that, what they have done is surely mightily impressive, and no mistake. If they can deliver a final product that looks that good, with all the parts fitting cleanly together, then this will be quite something.

the monster flooring IS part of the castle. it's the floor inside the jail cell.
