the monster flooring IS part of the castle. it's the floor inside the jail cell.

Uh,I read otherwise....perhaps when the pixel dan video shows up,we will get clear information

Unfortunately the video made no mention of that piece. Didn't Scott say nothing would be cut and things may be added? That floor piece was awesome and for the money we're paying it shouldn't be cut. Hopefully this question is answered sooner rather than later.

if it was coming with the set,it WOULD OF been mentioned

They really should make this as a variant exclusive

pay close attention to that Sticker on his package.....Son of He-Man.......SDCC Exclusive...Dare

Please tell me you are kidding. I really don't know who this supposed son of He-man is and I don't think I really care. Mattel needs to use this spot and the tooling budget to get another more challenging figure out before the line tanks. It would be great to see Modulok or some sort of 2-pack as the SDCC exclusive. It's not like they've ever been hard to get on MattyCollector after the convention.

Ive basically just switched to core characters. The castle looks great. I'm thinking about getting rid of a couple extras and use them for trade bait. Would roboto for tri klops be a good trade? Me having roboto?
Thanks.
Jim

I think Two-Bad would make a great SDCC EX, two separate figures that you can switch out parts to combine them.

I wish they'd do two exclusives - someone like Dare for the more hardcore MOTU collectors, and then someone like Modulok for the more casual collectors.

unfortunately I am not kidding

Those Bio's give away information (especially King He-Man's Bio about DARE being a Son) I am not saying its 100% for sure, but don't be surprised. That "Son of He-Man" sticker is going to be used again, guaranteed

SDCC Exclusives do not take away tooling from the sub lines...
SDCC have their own budget...

People complained when Matty made all concept characters as Exclusives
Then they complained that they were making certain core characters as Exclusives...
I think if they were to do Dare, it would be a good choice, you DON'T have to get it...

Modulok as a SDCC exclusive would provoke outrage from fans...

It probably will, but most likely would be the last one... I'm sure the SDCC ex for this year was decided long ago, even before the Sub-plea...

So, the Filmation sub is up if anyone cares...
I just got mine... the figures shown are way to awesome!

So, teemu, seems like you were right even though you said later it was not going to be a Filmation sub :lol

I want to get my Filmation sub but all my February sub figures are populating my cart along with Dr. Manhattan, too, for some reason! LOL. So it wants me to pay $160!

SDCC have their own budget...

I understand that SDCC exclusives have their own budget, so why waste it on something like Vykron compared to He-Ro, Orko/Adam, and Marlena/Cringer. I would categorize Dare: Son of He-man more along the lines of Vykron. With the line winding down it would be a good idea to get the best use of that SDCC exclusive tooling budget by making a more highly demanded figure.

People are going to complain no matter what Mattel does. None of the previous SDCC exclusives were hard to get on MattyCollector after the convention and most of them can still be bought on ebay for very minimal markups. Hasbro is the one that does the super limited SDCC exclusives, not Mattel.

I'd say Dare is at least as fan-demanded as He-Ro.

He was a concept they talked about back in the 80's before the line originally died, much like He-ro was.

He-Ro was actually made in prototype form and had a much more visual impact as an integral part of the Powers of Grayskull line that did get released in some capacity (giants and dinos). I don't think Dare ever made it past words on paper, but maybe I missed something.

I just ordered the Filmation sub without issue. I am surprised that we have not heard anything regarding a minimum of sub purchases in order for Mattel to go forward with the Filmation line. Am I wrong? If not I wonder why they would not need a minimum for this sub, but they do for all others?
