VERY UPSET about Fang Man being Subs ONLY. This is one I was REALLY looking forward to too. Wish I had known this way back when the subs were going! This is a really big ****** You move on Mattels part imo. 
Well anyways...if anyone with an extra sub that is willing to sell Fang Man for cost please PLEASE LMK.

I don't think people really read this stuff,plus I think people didn't really take him seriously,I know I didn't....
could be a scare tactic since they are currently selling Filmation subs.

why does him telling the truth mean "scare tactic"? i mean if you like the line then sub if u want only certain figures, buy day of sale or on the secondary market for like $10-$15 bucks more for the figure , i know i had to, i started the line late for that was my bad now i sub only.
I'm definitely going to be preordering the filmation sub now.
oviously you are new to the line then....
its the typical threat they use to get people to buy subscriptions...buy a sub or lose out
I have bought every subscription they offered,so it doesn't matter to me and I honestly have no problem with them offering figures Sub exclusively only.....its a perk for being a subscriber

the Filmation sub is easier to swallow since there's not too many figures, and I don't have to worry about the $60 3pack..
I'd love to get a Filmation style skeletor head somewhere along the line though, that's on my most wanted list.

It's not a threat so much as a reality check. Day of sales are notorious for selling out before too long. For the more popular ones they might as well never have gone up to begin with, they sell out so fast. Who has been collecting all this time and not be prepared to go the Ebay route? I've probably bought more figs from ebay than I have Matty.
Angry customers are never a great thing. Even though the timing on this announcement smells funny, there's alot of great reveals over the past week to carry it. I want my Batros, Shokoti and Icer!!

And that's the final straw for me. I'm a hardcore MOTU fan, I've been here since day one, but I'm also done with this line. I've just had enough of the way Matty treats its customer base.

Ah, scare tactics... Matty, when will you learn?
This year, since I wasn't able to buy the sub, will be interesting for me... Will I be able to trade my way into continuing to collect? Will I be able to pick up a Castle later on, for a decent price (and hopefully not pay shipping)? Who knows...
Do I regret not getting the sub now? Maybe a bit, but it couldn't be helped at the time.
Worse comes to worse, I'll just get the key figures. I'm more or less there already, and they're already taking way more space than I ever realized. I can probably live without Fang Man, although he DOES look pretty cool... we'll see!
