The only way we'll see Ram Man again is IF they have extra stock that was saved for QC issues

Which they did, I'm sure. They always do.

Heh, speaking of which, sort of, I finally went through my last several boxes from the 2012 subs - my "freebie" that one month was Stratos, of all people! I can't remember if he was reissued, but that was a surprise.

Toyguru stated that these figures are limited one time run, once there gone, there gone and that started after Man E Faces...that is why people should sub if they don't want to miss figures

teemu, you of all people know Toyguru says a lot of things!

We could see a Variant (Orange) Ram Man down the road, but don't hold your breath...the line only has a few years left (if that) and I doubt they will do variants till we get through the remaining heavy hitters

Yeah, it'll take a while, no doubt. But how many heavy hitters are left? For many, Ram Man was the last one.

The Prince Dare idea has been around since the mid 90's and I rather like it as it continues the story.

Hmm, interesting. Did not know that.

The Dare/King He-man mythos was a proposal for a new series. You can read the full bible here: https://old.he-man.org/cartoon/exclusivefeatures/exclusive-heroseriesbible-intro.shtml (not sure if it's on the new He-man.org site... can't see to find it) though there he's King Adam. They're obviously adapting it to fit with new MOTUC continuity in several ways. Although they are towards the bottom of my list, I do think some Dare era figures could be cool. If you though 200X was chock full of 90s' Exxxtreeeeme then get ready for these guys:

OMG... how awful! The pic I mean... The evil of Liefeld's influence strikes again!

I'll have to take a look at that link, though.

Who knows, maybe I'll warm to it... I'm not sure King He-man will be a priority, but we'll see. I'm surprised to see that neither Wonder Bread or the "Back in Time" sub exclusives are particularly hard to get or expensive. I still have them MISB - Shadow Weaver was the only one I opened, since she just HAD to get displayed with the rest of the Horde!

I do like the idea of He-man becoming king one day (I mean, he WAS a prince), but I'm not sure I like the narrative Matty/Toyguru is coming up with... Man-at-Arms becoming a Snake Man and dying, and all that.

Busta Toon's site is pretty good but I am not sure weather he has that break down.

I do know Jitsu only ever appeared in one Filmation episode and it was one of the best from season one, The Dragon Invasion.

Thank you. :) Though I did just pull up what appears to be the site you mentioned and it's a bit of a chore to navigate.

One thing that I really like about the idea of "King He-Man" that I mentioned when he was first previewed is that I see him as the He-Man that has aged with *me* (or "us" if you will.)

If He-Man was 20 years older than me when I was a kid and I was watching his adventures as an 8 year old then now as a 38 year old this is the 58 year old He-Man that still exists as he has aged since 1982 continuity. I don't know why but I just think that's cool.

Hey,when Ram Man hits $100+ don't say I didn't warn you...the longer you wait..the more you'll pay

Fisto and Sorceress never returned on sale ;) and won't

My "Freebie" that month was Stratos too, I have two subscriptions. Imagine my surprise when I looked and they sent me two, you'd think maybe someone would have thought to send me two different ones instead of two of the same.

Well I already secured mine, just to be on the safe side, so I'm good.

But in the end, money talks - if Matty thinks they can make another sale with any of those figures, they will.

Remember when Skeletor was fetching $100+?

Hmm, I guess Stratos just wasn't all that popular. Funny, I thought he was pretty cool. I guess he could have used some accessories, though.

Stratos is one of my all time favorite MOTUC... he's that cool!
Icer comes with Avion's Staff...

Though I prefer the Avion staff from the mini-comics

I might sell my extra loose displayed only Fisto here in the forums...was thinking $60 shipped...

If anyone doesn't want their King He-Man and is willing to ship to australia, then I'll happily buy it. I really dig him, but I didn't get a sub last year (for the first time) thanks to digital river incompetence in messing up my order something shocking.

The character development for guys like Ram Man, Roboto, etc. was pretty good, though.

Not to mention Stratos sounding like Sean Connery. :clap

Oh how I hated that.

There is a perfectly good reason for it. the show aired in 2002, it's that leftover 90's EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME influence :lol

silly 90's aside, at least in that show he actually USED the sword.

so you don't like it JUST BECAUSE it's the 200x sword? because the fiction i mentioned is Just from the Bios from the MOTUC toyline .

To me, the sword is hideous looking. I get that it was man made for the MOTUC line, but even in the cartoon it looks like something MAA would've put together with it's electronic looking components. Also, I forgot to mention that the 200x cartoon looks like anime, and I HATE anime.

I'm really all about the vintage cartoon. Despite the obvious lack of a big budget, I love the art style and the simple look of the power sword. I'm hoping that if a new He-Man cartoon comes out, it won't be anime inspired.

King He-Man needs a weapon and his son now holds the Sword of Power.
If you look at the sword closer you will see it's badly smashed up and the handle is pre placed with a bone. Who's bone is that?
I love stuff like that.

In case some of you are not familair with this.

The Prince Dare idea has been around since the mid 90's and I rather like it as it continues the story.

I'm aware of Dare, but I don't really like the idea of someone else wielding the power sword.

Can any of you guys pick one favorite figure from the line?

For me it boils down to

vs

However, Mer-Man takes the win. From day one, I always thought he had the best paint and highlights. He's super vibrant and stands out nicely.
