Well, it actually works for MOTU with how it is medieval tech meets future tech just, i hate that 200X toy sword design because on the show as far as i a can remember, the sword always looked powered down when Prince Adam carried it and when he was He-Man as well and this looked a bit better.

Hmmm. Should have jumped on ebay Ram Man earlier. Now they're selling for $70 or more. No Ram Man for me, I guess.

Same here, I could have got him for 60 shipped but felt like it was too much. Hopefully the price goes down in the next couple weeks when people get their shipments in. I hate scalpers.

:peace
Hey, you don't have to like it, I'm just telling you why he's got it. :D

So why don't you like it, simple curiosity.

I'm really not a fan of the whole 200x cartoon. Never could get into the stories or art style...especially the art style. Twirling weapons for no reason, characters hidden in complete shade when they're 10 feet back from the screen...

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole "future He-Man" stuff. I mean, who makes this stuff up, anyway? Toy-guru?

Anyway, anything related to it is wayyy down the list of priorities when it comes to the MOTUC line for me. More or less, it goes something like this:

Pri 1: Figures that were in the original MOTU toyline
Pri 2: MOTU Filmation characters
Pri 3: PoP toy and Filmation characters (mainly Horde characters like Scorpia, but I'll take any, given that I'll probably end up watching the show with my daughter on Netflix :) )
Pri 4: Mini-comic characters
Pri 5: "Concept" characters from the original line (He-ro, etc.)
Pri 6: 200X characters

Very low priority: Anything from the New Adventures, or whatever has been "made up" in the last couple of years... this includes stuff like the 30th Anniversary figures (though I suppose you could put Photog a bit higher), King He-man, etc.

I think I'll be trying to sell or trade off a lot of the "very low priority" figures, actually. I had everything up until the end of 2012 (except Granymyr, which I still need), but I don't think I "need" these anymore to enjoy my collection. Plus I still need to trade for Granymyr and hopefully some of the upcoming Filmation sub figures. :)

The character development for guys like Ram Man, Roboto, etc. was pretty good, though.

Not to mention Stratos sounding like Sean Connery. :clap

There is a perfectly good reason for it. the show aired in 2002, it's that leftover 90's EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME influence :lol

silly 90's aside, at least in that show he actually USED the sword.

so you don't like it JUST BECAUSE it's the 200x sword? because the fiction i mentioned is Just from the Bios from the MOTUC toyline .

Wow. I guess I was very lucky to get Ram Man!
Personally, I think Matty is crazy to limit these figures as much as they do. They won't let me join the sub list because I wasn't collecting and didn't know about it in July 2012, but then they don't manufacture enough figures to fullfill even a day's worth of demand. They are simply leaving money on the table.
They should either let us join the sub list mid-year or make enough of each figure to fit a day's worth of orders.

I have a feeling we'll see Ram Man again.

That said, I'm very glad I secured one. I can't help it, I'm a slave to the hype! :)

Ram Man will eventually hit the numbers of Fisto and Sorceress

BUY HIM NOW! (even at 60$-$70) OR PAY MORE TO GET HIM LATER!

The only way we'll see Ram Man again is IF they have extra stock that was saved for QC issues

Toyguru stated that these figures are limited one time run, once there gone, there gone and that started after Man E Faces...that is why people should sub if they don't want to miss figures

We could see a Variant (Orange) Ram Man down the road, but don't hold your breath...the line only has a few years left (if that) and I doubt they will do variants till we get through the remaining heavy hitters

Eh, lame. I never liked the idea of a man made power sword. It should just be the original one and that's it.

King He-Man needs a weapon and his son now holds the Sword of Power.
If you look at the sword closer you will see it's badly smashed up and the handle is pre placed with a bone. Who's bone is that?
I love stuff like that.

In case some of you are not familair with this.

The Prince Dare idea has been around since the mid 90's and I rather like it as it continues the story.

Ram Man - This is one of those cases where I can actually see him coming out in a new version some day since the cardback coloration seems so popular. So, as long as you don't mind the color change I'd think he was a possibility some day. If nothing else, it could be a good option for a "Classics" retail line if the new movie ever comes out.

As for 200X, I loved the series back then. The limited articulation of the figures was disappointing but I thought the cartoon series was pretty well done. I wish we'd properly seen the Horde. The one thing I really never warmed to was the Power Sword. But I really enjoyed how it's been incorporated back into the mythos here, and the battered version is probably my favorite thing about King He-man.

The Dare/King He-man mythos was a proposal for a new series. You can read the full bible here: https://old.he-man.org/cartoon/exclusivefeatures/exclusive-heroseriesbible-intro.shtml (not sure if it's on the new He-man.org site... can't see to find it) though there he's King Adam. They're obviously adapting it to fit with new MOTUC continuity in several ways. Although they are towards the bottom of my list, I do think some Dare era figures could be cool. If you though 200X was chock full of 90s' Exxxtreeeeme then get ready for these guys:

Becuase his fist is so huge, he can demand whatever price he likes?

Also.... neet looking. and odd we've got a woman there with the he-man cross......

Hey guys, is there a He-Man site that lists all the characters that will allow me to click on a character's name to pull up a list of all Filmation episodes he or she appeared in?

Busta Toon's site is pretty good but I am not sure weather he has that break down.

I do know Jitsu only ever appeared in one Filmation episode and it was one of the best from season one, The Dragon Invasion.
