Seeing these in-hand pics, I have to agree with the rest of you--Grayskull does look a bit smallish and out of scale with the figures
I betcha if Mattel could get away with it (takiing away more plastic),this would be our MOTUC Grayskull

Well i just modeled mine after Zombihamma's colours as best as I could but I think he used a bit more green in his.
The great think about the dry brush method is that you can build up and look and build up and look again to see if you are going to bright or too dark.
I would go in with some more lighter tones just a little bit around the towers. But either way, it still looks great to me.
No, you're right. That's the new art that was created to celebrate the 30th Anniversary.
Yup, found the image in question.
That's not He-Man.

That's minicomic He-Man, not the He-Man that should appear on a collection of Filmation cartoon episodes.
But it's not JUST filmation. Isn't it also the 200x serises, and new adventures?
And I'm one of them!
When I got into He-Man there was no Prince Adam or Orko and none of this kiddie stuff. That came later!
But it's not JUST filmation. Isn't it also the 200x serises, and new adventures?
Meh. 200x and NA are mere footnotes after the iconic Filmation cartoon. If you're going to pick one art style to represent all three series', you go Filmation or go home.
Filmation is a footnote after the figures and castle I played with as a kid.
