It's not updated weekly. It should be much higher than that, and online store owners have not placed their orders yet. They never do till the very end. It's a cost thing.

I heard that it hasn't been updated in a week and a half. On the 1st Guru said we were "around 40%."

of course it's bad business stategy...but they don't care. The line is not dependant on new customer's,it's dependant on those who bought Subs and who have bought every figure since day 1.

MattyCollector's day are numbered, that was always inevitable.

I still find it pretty ironic that MOTUC was doing really well until they started pushing the "Sub or Nothing" mentality. For what it's worth, I think 2014 will go through the same as it did last year and they will announce a "surprise" afterwards.

I guess I'm in a better place this year than I was last year because I'm not as tiffed over missing out on a figure like Ram Man. Last year opened my eyes up to a few things behind the scenes that soured me on Scott's character too. It also seriously changed the dynamic at the .org unfortunately. A price has been paid that cannot be measured in dollars and beyond this line I am ready to put MOTU away for a good while.

5 full years already is well beyond what I had hoped for initially. It's safe to say this has been the best MOTU showing since the 80's which after the 2002 debacle I never thought I'd be able say.

I really feel that MOTUC, in all its forms, has damaged the MOTU brand and fanbase. The fanbase is divided, some sites that were once great fan gathering places have become a cesspool of ignorance and corporate schilling, and many once huge MOTU supporters have left the brand behind.

I also really think unless there is a movie made in the next 2 years, the brand will be dead and buried.

I wouldn't say the MOTU/POP/NA brand is damaged, but I would say Mattel has managed to hurt their own reputation despite MOTUC's success and fan loyalty.

well, this worked with the weapons pack... might as well give it a second go.

Anyone got a Snake men army builder pack, or Eternian palace guards pack they do not want? It seems many people want to unload. taking advantage now.

The more stories I keep hearing about Scott makes me wonder how he still has a job,but I guess if you can one up over the next guy,it keeps you alive just a little longer

there is definite division...mostly fighting over specific factions

Yeah,I don't see 2015 happening- the inevitable price increase

from Fwoosh interview... "But, with prices going up, and they will continue to go up, you have to decide. 2015 might see another price increase. I mean, we don’t know yet. In ’14 we are going to hold it but we cost out the figures, and a month later, they cost more. This happens because the factory gives everyone a raise, or petroleum goes up. From packaging to figure, these are petroleum-based products and prices fluctuate all the time. We have very little control over that.

What kind of salary do you think a guy like Tou Guru makes? I mean, he's a celebrity to the MOTUC community but really...

That makes it really hard for me to believe he has any power over the line. I've always felt like he was just a figure head parroting what he was told to say. "Hey look, we put a 'geek' just like you in charge of the whole line!"

I didn't listen to the audio because I honestly can't stand to hear his voice. Did he talk about buying stuff just to resell it? I'm not letting him off the hook if he did, but I have often seen that used to justify collecting to people who don't get it.

I hate that scalping ***; if he were to ever pull into my drive way I'd pull my gun on him!

Wow... really??? :dunno
Over toys?...

Have you ever watched his show? He gets off on the stuff he pulls on people when he gets more than he quotes them, and puts all the extra cash in his pocket.

Nope, I don't watch crappy TV shows... and don't have cable so I couldn't careless about it...
But sure as hell wouldn't threaten to shoot some d-list tv personality over toys...
