I'm trying not to get into this line...it's hard not to because I loved these when I was a kid. My favorites from the He-Man line were Hordak, Grizzlor, Stinkor (the stench of the figure didn't make my mom too happy after I opened it when I was a kid)), and I used to have Hordaks playset. It's going to be hard to resist once Hordak goes up. It brings back some fond memories of my childhood.

ahhh. ok. good to know. so, I keep hearing people talk abut re-releases, anyone know anything DEFINITE about that? or is that all just hearsay?

ok... Must...remain... patient... to get.... He-man.....And Skeletor....
bah, gives me time to play catch-up... got a good lead o n Mer-man and Beast man

I'm patiently holding out. He-Man and Skelly are the only "musts" for me in this line. I just refuse to pay what they're going for on the secondary market now...

i think they confirmed He-man and skeletor re-releases at the end of this year. apparently he-man's shoulders are on the wrong sides on the first figure. i can't really tell the difference. this will be fixed on the re-release. i also heard they are gonna give skeletor's left hand a tighter grip so he can actually hold his weapons.

educating my self... so, for those of us tht missed out on king greyskull... what are our chnces of getting one? Originaly i did not want one... but He's grown on me. So.... think he'll get a re-launch?
Or ami simply gonna have to bite the bullet and get him from the 'bay?

I think of every figure they've released so far, he's by far the LEAST likely to be reissued.

I think you should just go to the 'bay, if you want him. I'm going to have to as well, for the bronze version at least...

sometimes you just half to buy on the bay if you miss out. i know it sucks but it depends on what kind of fan/collector you are. i know if i just discovered this line today, i would want all the past figures right now. i would probably want the original releases too, but that's just me. a re-release of king grayskull would be different for sure cuz he was a con exclusive. plus i doubt he would come in the castle grayskull box with the sound chip which was a big plus for me..

would anyone here buy a new classics version of castle greyskull??? of course,I would and probably get 2.What is your price range? I'd pay $200 and under for a re-done playset

as neet as the box is, i don't have room for something like that, So The packageing is a non-issue for me.

Same deal on a classic castle greyskull. Just have not got the room.

Looks like I'll be hitting the bay for him... ugh... i might just pass on him.

on the up side, i just got my tracking number for Faker.

yes i would. i'll buy anything from the vintage line. money is not an object. this was my favorite toy line as a kd and i can't tell you how pleased i am to have updated versions of these characters without them being overdone like the 2000 line was.

Actually they did say at NYCC this past winter that King Greyskull would be rereleased down the road. However, he would have some what different paint applications and possible battle damage to simulate his last battle with the Horde. They said that would happen probably a little further down the road though. He would probably be one of those special double figure month that they also talked about at that particular Con. Meaning that with the regular release figure we may have the chance to pick up a redecoed variant of a past figure ie He-Man, Skeletor, Man-at-Arms etc. These redecoed figures would be released 10-12 months after their initial release.

By the way, I just jumped in this line after months of trying not to give in but after looking at Man-at-Arms again (along with He-Man one of my favorites) I picked up Skeletor this week for the total price of $38 shipped off the Bay. :chew What a wonderful and totally solid figure. Just amazing is what he is. Now to find the rest of them for a hopeful good price.

Good to know about King Greyskull getting a re-release. I'll hold off then. Nice find on skeletor. I keep debating going ahead and getting him, or waiting for the re-release later this year. ARRGH. Don't know which to do. also, Need throne!

Right now there are a quite a few good deals on old Skull head so I would go a head and grab him.
I have a feeling in a few months that may not be the case regardless of the rerelease because this will be the first one and for some collectors just getting into this line they wont be able to resist not having the first edition of the character.

I kinda like his open left hand, it almost has a "evil clutching" feel to it. So I MIGHT just go ahead and get him now as opposed to waiting....

For my information, what's a "good deal" price on him.

For me anything under $50 shipped considering who he is and that he was the third figure in the line. I would not pay that much for Merman as well he is Merman and not the big bad boss man. There were a few out there but I haven't looked since I got mine :monkey3
But price is going to vary to every individual, like my grandfather always says, "It is only worth what someone will pay for it." So if this Skeletor is worth something to you then jump on it - and the slightly open left hand is a very, very nice part to this Skeletor imo.
