Yeah these things costing $40+ is killer, if you sub it ends up being what? About $500 a year?

yeah with shipping,it's a little over $500

Not paying $40+ for crap like Mara,Huntara next year and all Scott Neit-lick's other undesirables....

not buying....going cherry picker, and that's if we even get a full 2015 line...the only way 2015 goes through is if Mattel forces it through themselves.
I am done buying figures I don't want and can't re-sell...

There really isn't much left that's worth paying $27-$30 per figure for, plus another $11-15 shipping tacked on

Assuming Scott realizes this ... Would throwing in Filmation props and accessories or extra heads with each new figure get you to reconsider subbing? I'm weak enough to take that bait myself ...

nah! it's still having to buy figures I don't really want and don't have room for

Oh and Songster has been recently trademarked as Songstro...so he could be a candidate for the 2015 Sub Exclusive too (Easy Pass!!!)

Besides an odd use of tooling dollars, I don't understand the packaging. Skelly is riding Panthor, who has a toilet built into his saddle, ok fine, whatever. But then why does it look like the throne from Snake Mountain is mounted on the saddle as well? Seems like it should be either a throne toilet or a saddle toilet, but both at the same time is an odd mix. Poor Panthor, his fur will never be the same.

Also, the only concept characters that are being considered are the ones that were in the 2009 Mattel Art Book. :( Not surprising, but a little bit of a bummer. Truthfully, though, I'll be happy if we get through 2015. All the rest is just icing on the cake.

I've yet to figure out why it has taken so long to get to Calix ... Despite his limited screen time he made a big enough impression on us fans that we are always asking for him ...

And was Stridor ever a lock as some believe? I know they have a horse buck sculpt but wouldn't he have required a completely new sculpt considering he is a robot?

I'll be most happy to see all of the vintage He-man and Skeletor variants finished ... Strange but those are my must haves ... As a kid I enjoyed the two titans getting new gimmicks ....

The Skeletor Baby is ridiculous beyond belief, and I'm annoyed that Scott talked it up as something that would make subscribers happy. But I don't hate it's existence. I have no interest in it and I think it's going to sit around forever... but, eh, it's Mattel's money to waste. I'd buy it on severely reduced clearance, I will say, for the sheer novelty of it.

Calix is a funny one. He seems to have a LOT of support. I know I really wanted him in 200X. Now... well, I want him but I'm not as hot to trot about him. Mostly because I don't know how he'll turn out visually "Classicized." It might be cool if they gave him a stone texture all over. Sort of like the Doctor Who figures of the Cybermen, Daleks and Roman that had the stone texture on them.

Stridor was very heavily rumored by people I trust to at least have a decent pulse on what's going on. Of any vehicle or beast, it'd make sense to do because you can re-use the mold as Night Stalker. But, it would be a complete new tool.

Seriously.. what the hell is going on over at Matty's headquarters these days?

Tssk ... Didn't learn a thing from the dentist two-pack did we? If call backs to Robot Chicken are the lifeblood to the line than you might as well rerelease characters with new heads featuring the goofy eyes and paper mouths ... Include a couple of different expressions we can swap out ourselves ... You can start with Teela and Fisto ...

I imagine Calix isn't being made because they don't know how to go about making him in a way that will be cheap enough… though if teemu is right they're making Dylamug which would be 100% new tooling and no chance of re-use I can see. So who knows.

to make Calix right,he would have to be almost a fully tooled figure...I don't see him happening anytime soon considering his 2 seconds of cartoon time

besides, they will have to re-name him...Calix TM is owned by a coffee brewing company

I heard that Stridor was already sculpted by the four Horseman and sits in limbo just like the Battle Ram has...Stridor was never going to be a $35-40 figure as some presumed or wanted to be.Because Stridor is a fully tooled figure (even though night stalker can come from him).He is considered like a large vehicle and would probably run about $60-80 now if they made him.The only good thing of possibly getting him is because they can re-use his mold one more time for Night Stalker

Did they ever re-use She-Ra's horse for anything? That seemed a real obvious one for re-use.

So the haven't yet? That's kinda odd given how many times they've re-used Battle Cat.

they will...they still have Storm and other dumb horses in the POP line to do..

Doesn't Catra have a pink cat of her own? They don't really believe they can pump out all of the original horses do they? With the costs going up ... And their constant begging for subscribers whenever it suits them ...

About the only beast or vehicle I'd want right now is Mantisaur.

This is the one I want most after Stridor/Night Stalker.

That won't matter because that's a different TM category. As long as it's not in the toy category, it should be fine.

I'm a bit torn about the horses. I love Swift Wind, actually. It's so amazingly sculpted. But, I don't need a TON more horses. I'd take Arrow because he looks cool if they go with the cartoon version. I'd also take Storm. But that's about it. They just take up a lot of space. Catra has Clawdeen. It seems like an obvious thing t make at some point, but frankly if they are going to give Catra a mount I'd rather have Storm. I don't know if I need another cat in the line, period.

You're probably right there, but either way,Mattel hasn't applied for the Trademark yet
