After waiting on the RED SCREEN OF DEATH for over 15 minutes, I was able to get my order in this afternoon. I'm so glad, the two figures I wanted the most were Horak and Merman, and I managed to snag them both.

congrats on getting your two most wanted, mine are Hordak and Stinkor. I tried for Merman as well but had no luck getting him.

obviously i need to turn in my fanboy card as i didn't think about hordak until about 3:45pm.

/facepalm.

From AFP:

You could argue that no Masters of the Universe collection would be complete without Orko. With price point for Classics, some collectors might think twice about buying Orko. Have you thought about how you might release an Orko, and what will you do to get his value to be on par with the rest of MOTUC?

We know exactly how and when Orko will be in the line. He’s coming sometime in 2010.

:rock:rock

Did anyone get an extra Hordak they want to sell? Ive been sick these last couple of weeks and I missed out on Hordak and needless to say I missed out...

Please.

Thank God for portable internet devices (iPhone) and WiFi!! Sat in lecture while watching the Matty message reload for 10 minutes. Then, got in, clicked on Hordak.

Reload again.

Back in. Click quantity (2). Reload again.

Back in. Confirm shipping address. Reload again.

Back in. Type in credit card security code. Reload again. Processing....order complete! :banana All in all, about a 20 min. process.

I hope everyone that wanted a Hordak got one! Upon arriving home I saw the news that he sold out in an hour! That's great! As long as people got theirs and not the scalpers.

seem to be selling around $30-$40 mark. I just don't understand flipping it at $30. Make $10, minus Ebay/PP fees, plus cost of time to do the work, for a measly $5 or $6?

Having said that, I've been buying a couple of doubles along the way and plan on listing the entire lot of 7 for $0.01 starting and see what happens.

This is good news! Makes buying the next subscription better
(Say NO to POP and NA characters, She-ra is the only one that will really sell anyways)

4. For 2009, the characters released under the MOTUC banner have been fairly logical- e.g. most of the 8-back characters, reuse, etc. Will that change going into 2010? Can you give us some insight as to the number of Princess of Power and New Adventure figures we might see next year? We want all corners of the MOTU mythos!

We are currently planning on at least 1 POP and 1 NA character in 2010. We can’t comment on anything beyond that. However, we very interested in exploring all of the MOTU world with this new collector line!

Well, I don't want any of the NA figures (even though I'll probably get them by signing up for the subscription) but I do want some POP figures. Give me an Adora, Bow, Catra, Frosta, Glimmer, Angella, Sweet Bee (ya, sad I know). :D

Plus, if they begin to offer 2 figures a month, as they've stated they'll most likely do, then doing 1-3 POP figures a year would be fine. I do want the MOTU classic characters first.

I really doubt we would see Adora or She-Ra so soon.. If we do, I would be very pleased but I am not getting my hopes up. Awesome that Orko is a 2010 figure though. Maybe he will be at SDCC? Ideally he will be a nice mix of the MYP version and the original/Filmation version.
