Don't be so quick to declare that there will be no lights.:wink1:

Hey Scott! Get out of here! This is Emiliano-country!:pfft:

Best fake account ever! :lol

On a more serious topic:

I know it is still a long time until Power Con, but I figured it might be best to look for help as early as possible.

Being from Germany there is absolutly no chance I will be able to attend Power Con. However I am a Classics collector since day one. I am so OCD that I am even hunting for variants like Original Beast-Man with light blue chains instead of dark blue. Therefore the 3 Exclusoves are a must for me, however I fear that international ebay will become rediculously expensive.
Summed up I am looking for a great freak who would be willing to attend Power Con for me and pick up the 3 Exclusives (is there a TC Excl. planned?). Of course I would be willing to compensate you.
I am not sure how much they charge for a ticket for Power Con, but I was thinking about offering to take ofer the costs for the ticket for Power Con to whoever would be willing to catch the figures for me, so you can attend power Con for free and I get my figures without ebay.
If anybody who would be willing to help a feelow Freak from Europe, please contact me. Thanks in advance!:duff

Conspiracy Theory for July 13, 2015:

For what it's worth. There are 3 PowerCon exclusives. From what we were always told, Mattel will not go into production on figures unless they are making a substantial amount of them. With that said, I doubt that a tiny fan convention in California is going to muster the amount of people required to sell ALL of the stock. I'm thinking we are being told that these will ONLY be available at PowerCon to drum up ticket sales, and eventually those 3 exclusives will be sold on mattycollector. Just a little something to think about.

Hopefully Grimskull is a big enough draw to unlock those Guards this time.

How could I possibly enjoy those shoddy looking things when I know these are out there:

Got the parts coming in the mail to make my own skeleton warriors just like these. If anybody wants a custom skeleton warrior let me know.

Umm, no. Sorry but, what a crock.

From someone who constantly cries poverty, I doubt he is flipping the bill for 3 different figures to go into production. Mattel is more than happy to make some repaints for a con that will help promote and sell MOTU products, and I'm sure Mattel is getting a hefty percentage from the sales of the exclusive figures.

I think it's funny that every time someone gives an answer you don't like it must be not be true. I understand your dislike of Scott, but please tell me when has Val ever blatantly lied to the collector community? And what purpose would it serve for him to say so? Have you not heard of credit? Power-Con and Mattel could have agreed to payment on delivery of these figures or a deposit with balance due shortly after Power-Con when they would have already collected the money for the sales of the figures.

Wow, really liking the look of Snake Mountain, but I think that cements it for me - I'm pretty much out of this line. I was thinking about finally picking up Castle Grayskull, but if I did that, I'd have to get Snake Mountain... and honestly, I don't really have a place for either. Especially if I have any hope of convincing my wife to finally let me have a USS Flagg. :)

I would, eventually, like to get the vintage versions, I think. I'm not sure if I mentioned in my last post, but if anyone has minty vintage MOTU figures, I'd consider trading my MOTUC stuff for them. The only MOTUC figures I'm keeping are basically the guys from the first two original waves and the Filmation intro. And maybe the original Horde guys. :)

I LOVE that this line is still going strong, though. Honestly, I had my doubts about 2016 but it's looking pretty spectacular. The Filmation style figures aren't for me, but they look great.

What's even more funny is that you and a few others are always there to come to the rescue of the people in question, while demanding proof.

Val said, "Their creation and production is a Power-Con expense", and I expressed my opinion and information to back it up, so what's the problem?

You can disagree with my opinion without trying to twist it into a hate crime.

Well I guess you just don't trust anyone or take them for their word. I am glad I don't have your perspective on things.

Great! now that it's settled, let's talk about all things toy related instead of dwelling on hurt feelings because of what was said about another person.

Out of the 3, I like Camo Khan and wouldn't mind having him since TECHNICALLY he's a vintage figure. The others are mini-comic variations which I can live without. The only issue with the Camo Khan revealed is his weapon color. This particular variation of Camo Khan should have a brown weapon.

EDIT: My bad, This variation of Camo Khan DOES have the right color weapon.

Khan is a big want aswell, but I missed out on Red Granymyr. Any word on pricing even though the show is a year away?

I don't think official pricing has been announced, but you can bet they will be sold at convention prices, which are always higher.

My favorite of the 3.

I would have also loved a mini comics Trap Jaw. Easy repaint and surprisingly a Trap Jaw without Trap Jaw legs, imagine that!

I wish Mattel would make a Tri-Klops from the "Terror of Tri-Klops" Mini Comic. That would be very cool.
