Attendee passes and exclusives are now available to buy for PowerCon. Non-attendee is coming up in a couple hours, I believe. To get the exclusives (and add more) you have to keep hitting "Checkout" because they are add-ons:

Read this teemu. It's how Mattel explained the difference between the minimum subs required to go into production vs. the maximum number of subs they would accept before closing preorders. They are two different numbers.

I think that is just poor communications. Based on the past and some guesses I think there is a quota A which is what needed for the sub to pass and quota B which is how many they have planned to produce in total. They passed quota A by 75%, but if they had hit quota B, they would have stopped taking more orders.

*sigh*
I'm out, despiste having certain keyboard warriors on ignore, they just suck the fun out of the hobby with so much none sense... And since everybody keeps quoting them...
It's sad to see one of the oldest and longest threads on the boards to be hijacked by a couple of clowns while the mods sit idly...
I can handle a nutjob, but 3 is way too many...
Have fun with your little corner of sadness guys!!

It was taken care of

Big thumps up for you! Thanks alot! I would have forgotten to order. Just made it in time for all three now. Thank you!

Notorious scammer Matt Mason is back to his old tricks. The last couple of days he has been listing multiple Teela, Fisto, and Sorceress figures plus Battle Rams, Castle Grayskulls, other MOTUC items for too good to be true prices. Beware buying from a seller in Bourbonnais, Illinois. If you need additional info please PM me.

No worries! That's exactly what I was hoping to prevent. I know how it is to be on the other side and let it slip your mind. LOL. I actually set the time and date in my phone so I wouldn't forget, especially on a weekend day!

Did the figures sell out?

Not last I heard. I was a bit late to the party and able to score what I wanted. Sounds like they'll potentially open it up for non-attendees to purchase more than one if they're not sold out in a week or so.

Can you guys explain to me the appeal for a Miley Cyrus wanna-be Hordak?

Ha :lolwell, I like the idea of Despara. I was never a fan of Adora's costume, which was nothing more than a female version of Prince Adam's get-up. I've had a more badass version of Adora in my head for a while, and the recent comics have really captured, visually, my idea of how Adora should look growing up under Hordak's tutelage.

Yeah I always wanted to see a real badass version of "Force Captain Adora" and there's some cool fanart and customs of that but Despara imo really does that in spades. I also really don't get the Miley Cyrus comparison. Because they're both blonde and have short hair?

I think Despara looks pretty awesome, that face mask alone is a super cool design. I like the accessories the figure comes with two - figures with two swords are very fun. Also, the design really makes sense for the character. She fits right in with the Horde.

I read the first few months of the DC MOTU comics and Despara was one of the only design or story elements I actually liked. If it was a normal release I'd definitely pick it up, but as a sub figure it'll probably end up costing more than I'm willing to pay :(

Just got my Hover Robots today and they're awesome. They definitely captured the goofy/fun aspect of the Filmation design :)

I just learned that we have to pay for PowerCon exclusives now. Were we not told this all was paid for by the owner of PowerCon with some great pride?

Do other Conventions charge you a year in advance for exclusives like this?

I've never heard of that. Not even ThreeA who's entire model is based on pay upfront preorders has you pay for convention exclusives a year before the convention (at least I don't think they do).
