I'm kind of annoyed at the bonus figure situation too, to be quite honest - it really should have been an option with the subscription. Subscription A = regular figures, subscription B = regular figures + bonus figures. Shouldn't really have been hard to work out.

I admit, I've been lucky so far getting every figure online, with the help of my brother. I'll be away a LOT next year so I hope he'll still be able to help...

I have to give a BIG Shout Out to iron.jedi83, if not for him and his persistence I wouldn't have gotten jack ^^^^. He stood in line for two days, finally scored a fast pass for Friday at 10 and we bought our stuff and got the ^^^^ out of there fairly quickly.

A Million thanks Alfred, you rock brother!! :rock :duff

no problem Ill :rock

i saw that long as line on preview night and i was like no way im getting in tonight, went back the next day and after waiting for like 30 mins the mattel people came up to us and said "guys this isnt the line for the Mattell booth come back later" so i was like bastards!!!. went back an hour later and they were handing out the fast pass for early friday morning so i was like sweetness. it pissed me more off that that friday i was able to go to the hasbro booth, score myself the baroness soundwave and wolverine mighty mugg in like 10 minutes while it took me and Ill 45 mins in the mattell booth to get the stuff

Stupid Mattel was very unorganized, they really need to adopt a better system for their exclusives. Last year they just handed out tickets early in the day and after the initial rush they would open up to everyone else. Why not just do that this year?

Anyway, thanks again brother, I really appreciate all you did for me! :rock

Well, I’m back from San Diego and sort of rested up…sort of. I’ll be continuing my show coverage this week with a few more updates, including tonight’s. I have the misc photos of the con, cosplayers, and other odds and ends up:

https://www.mwctoys.com/sdcc2009/sdcc2009_misc_bottom.htm

And you can find the home page for the complete coverage here:

https://www.mwctoys.com/sdcc2009/sdcc2009_main.htm

My review tonight is of the latest MOTUC figure, Man-At-Arms. Mine’s a bit later than usual on this guy, because I had to get him off ebay *grumble*, but he is one sweet addition. I’ll be looking at the SDCC exclusive He-Ro next week, but enjoy MAA until then.

I also have a great guest review up from dedguy, covering the latest release in the ongoing World War Robot series based on Ashley Woods’ work, Large Martin. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

https://www.mwctoys.com

Oh, and I have my list of ten best and worst from SDCC 2009 over at Quick Stop…depending on how fast the editor there posts it to the page. There’s a link off the main page, but if it’s not yet up, give it a few more hours.

Thanks for reading!

the right hip is loose on mine too... he keeps wanting to do splits... debating keeping him or sending him back, as that is his only bad joint..... any suggestions on tightening it?

You could have asked one of us for a MAA Michael. I'm sure someone on this board would have been happy to get one to you for a decent price.

Send him back! I had to send my Beastman back because he had 2 right legs, and the replacement process was very easy to deal with (it just may take about a month to get your replacement, but well worth the wait to get a perfect product).

I was one of the few that i know out of all my friends that was able to get a book... I had a exhibitors pass for Thursday along with a regular badge and the security there kept telling all the exhibitors to back off and they won't be able to buy anything from the booth until 10am. 9:30am was the time that the booth was open for sale. I was like the 1st 10 people or so in line and that freaken line formed 100 strong in a matter of a minute (or so it seemed)..

Here is a video I stumbled on. It shows someone flipping through the art-book. This will give you a good idea what is in it.
