the re-releases were the ONLY reason i got into the line having missed the first go-round.

will an anger people? yes.

But in the long run, it will bring in more new customers than loosing old ones.

I think it will more so anger the scalpers. The true fans who love the figures shouldn't really care IMHO.

Even King Grayskull is getting re-released, just without the fancy packaging that he had the first time.

That's kinda cool. I kept my fancy box because I liked the look and sound effects. I might get another one the next release, they have improved the paint apps and design since King Grayskull was released.

Personally, I'm not sure what I think about the re-releases... The completist in me will want to get them if they're at all different from the originals, and that kind of bothers me a bit.

I am all for reissues of past figures, I need to pick up a He-Man and Skeletor for my son (I hope he will like them when he is old enough) and I need another set so they can ride on Battle Cat and Panthor.

Re-releasing figures of this kind has been around since the start. There is not a damn thing people should complain about when it comes to these gems.

Exactly... these aren't limited editions or anything like that... well, maybe the Con Exclusives, but still... the original line in the 80's got re-releases, to make sure at least the core characters were always available...

As for the re-releases I don't see any problem with it. In reality the more people into the line the longer the line lasts. Keep them coming.

I have a question. I always get two of each character every month. I want to join the Club Eternia and get two of each. So I would get two supscriptions... and I believe if I get two on the same transaction it should share the shipping right? Instead of seperate shipping? Also, that would mean I would get two of the Wun-Dar figure right? I just wanted to be clear before I ordered.

Any help is greatly appreicated. I called Mattel and they didn't know, lol. They were very nice though and said they'd get back to me.

Tell us what you find out. I was wondering the same thing. Lately, I've been ordering 2 of each, so I could cherry pick the one I like more. There are a couple characters, such as Trap Jaw or Moss Man that I would actually want to get 2 of.

It looked like by the wording on the site that it is shared shipping, just wanted to make sure. I think they said something about how bonus figures could not be added into shipping because it was seperate orders.
