So apparently they are having issues with the flocking on Moss Man. On their Facebook page, Matty says "Just to let everyone know, we are working out some of the kinks with Moss Man right now. The flocking on a highly articulated figure is a bit tricker then we expected. There is a chance Moss Man may get pushed out to April and the "as-of-yet-unannounced" April figure will get bumped up to March (see why we have bonus figures in tow, stuff like this happens a lot!). This is not confirmed yet, just want to keep you all in the loop.

And along those lines, would fans be interested in Moss Man if he was not flocked? Or is this a make or break deal? We are doing everything we can to keep him flocked, but just curious what fans think?

If the only way to flock him would be to limit the articulation would that be okay also? Curious what you all think? "

I say keep him flocked and limit the articulation.

I prefer the flock option see my guys see so much action and get display every which way possible.

I signed up for 2 Club Eternia subscriptions. I figure I can keep duplicates of figures with change-out accessories or sell the extras on here or eBay.

I gaurantee you they are having trouble with the ab crunch and shoulder joints as those wouldbe the hardest to keep from rubbing off the flock.
Whether or not they flocked him wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me so long as he was painted nicely (w/ the airbrushed look) and not just a green Beastman. Devil's advocate, I want him regardless.

I went ahead and put down my order for a subscription. Just dont wanna have to deal with the website or worrying about if I have to work on those days.

Also got an email saying my He-Ro figures will be here next wednesday....why oh why take so long to ship them, could of had them so much sooner if they didnt take their time shipping.

I say fauckin' flock him! Limiting the articulation is cool with me, and am I the only one who LOLs when they read "ab crunch"? Thanks for the insight Mando, you are probably right on the money.

edit: You can't say f o ckin'? Wtf?

I actually think for Moss Man, he's getting the second closed mouth head. He looks more serene which I actually like for him, and less of a complete Beastman rip off.

I'd like him to be flocked but not at the expense of the articulation we have come to expect. The best solution IMO is to flock the areas where there will be least movement.
I'm sure he can have large patches of flock on his head, chest, gut etc. as long as it doesn't go near the joints. It might actually look good if they put it in select places as opposed to all over him.

I don't know. I like the flocking of the original figure and of the one that was shown at SDCC. But I think agent_85 has it on the money - if you flock certain areas it could look nice.

I want MossMan flocked with the same articulation as the rest... someone posted a photo shopped photo (see below) of a spot-flocking Moss Man, which looks quite good...Mattel can do flocked, they are just trying to cut corners...they did it once before back in the 80's,they can do it again
