Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

MAA looks amazing, so does the other guys but man, the MAA from the cartoon. As a kid I was always wondering why MAA didn't have a mustache.

Hordak!!!!! :drool That cape man, just.... just :monkey2 That being said is nice addition to the original He-Man back in the day and is still an AWESOME addition to the classics as well. I remember all the new evil henchman that came with Hordak, it basically opened a no holds bar with the He-Man saga!!! :rock :rock :rock

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

The new releases are awesome. Hordak has his little bat creature, Man-at-Arms a changeable head, and Tri-Klops his Doom seeker scout. Mattel is upping the ante on these figures and can't wait to get them all. And Teela doesn't look anorexic (most of the Horsemens female figures look too skinny), I looking forward to seeing her painted and will be sure to get her too.

I would consider myself a mediocre to below average He-man fan and these figures have wowed the hell outta me! Amazing is what this line will be rememered as.

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

Out of all these figures, Hordak is one I never had as a kid :(
Now I'm excited to finally get one!!! :rock

I really believe these are the best 1/12 figures released IMHO. I was giving up on collecting 1/12 figures and just sticking to 1/6 and PFs, but these new MOTU figures had to be released and get me collecting 6" figures again.

These and NECA's TMNT figures revitalized this scale for me.

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

the hordak maa triclops and teela look great, so thats $40 + shipping....and then the figures that have been around already faker, stratos and merman....jebus thats a lot of money. Atleast its one a month though :)

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

also went to walmart today to see if they had the dvd sets for $10 like it was posted here, but they were gone already. So went to BB and picked up the remainder 3 that I needed/wanted. Also saw the BB exclusive boxset for the new series that had all the dvds, a full comic, skeletor keychain, and extra cards. Would of bought it but had already spent cash else where plus they still had a bunch of those, but for $49.99 it seemed pretty neat.

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

Man I'm ashamed to admit that a couple weeks back I bought MOTU Original series Season2 Volume 1 for 45 bucks at Virgin.. grrrrr.

Now I just ordered on Amazon Season One Volume 2 and Season 2 Volume 2 for 10 bucks each brand new! And a used copy of MOTU 2002 Volume 1 for 8 bucks. All together shipped it came to 40 bucks. That's 5 dollars less for 3 seasons, 2 brand new than it cost me for 1 at rip off Virgin. My BB don;t have any MOTU here in NYC.

True, Mattel is putting quality, effort and some love into these projects and it shows. We're all scrambling to get them because they really are some good stuff.

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

I'm more excited about these figures than I am about the Hot Toys original Predator....bring on Trap-Jaw and Kobra Khan!!!

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

Ebay is a good place to watch for the old original he-man episodes also. I recently bought all of season one (vol. 1 and 2) on dvd for 13.00 shipped!! :horror It has been fun reliving old memories and watching the shows with my kids, they are loving it...:D

I love the look of the newly announced figures also...can't wait for hordak especially!!

At this rate, we should be seeing those fellows soon.

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

I think a MOD needs to rename the title of this thread to Masters of the Universe Classics. OR something to that effect.
