Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

:lecture
These and NECA's TMNT figures revitalized this scale for me.
NECA does some great stuff, I had all but walked away from 6" figures and their Gears of War and Turtles figures brought me back in!

I think a MOD needs to rename the title of this thread to Masters of the Universe Classics. OR something to that effect.
I've been thinking the same thing. I'll have it changed by today. ;)

I want new version classics of all of these from my 2002 collection

Re: New He-Man, Beast Man figures...

Just saw this on Heman.org. Too cheesy, just like the old 80's commercials.

I think this is Ironic since the Boxes say ADULT COLLECTOR on them! yet they got 2 8 year old kids here!:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

I dont know I opened mine up Saturday and I let my son play with them and he hasnt put them down since and is looking forward to getting the next one.

No one talking about the new figures previewed at NYCC09? Frickin Horde baby!!

Mattel really needs to be careful though. These figures are awesome but they are just a tad too similar to the original figures. I see why the 200X fans ^^^^^ so much.

It seems they're slowly starting to introduce some elements from 200X into the line. Apparently Zodak's bakcpack, Hordak's staff, and a rumored (confirmed?) extra pony-tailed Teela head are all nods to that series. I didn't really collect that line so I'm just going off specualtion I've read.
Personally I'd be fine with the direct updates of the classics figures but I'm not opposed to anything that makes a better figure.

I originally decided to skip this line due to space/finance reasons, but the new photos of upcoming pix is really hard not to jump on the bandwagon, the only thing holding me back is the fact that getting he-man and skullhead is gonna cost so much more now. The prices certainly are getting kinda crazy.

What's the going rate, I guess I could go look on Evil Bay, but just in case have u seen them go elsewhere for higher?

damn. renamed the thread. i was looking everywhere for it. i was reading some stuff on he-man.org and toyguru(the brains behind this operation) says that besides Man-at-arm's mace, sword, gun, and extra head, he will also have a "mystery" accessory. any speculation on what that would be? ideas at the org have been 200X arm cannon, helmet-less head, mini orco, or baby teela. discuss amongst yourselves.
