Disease and illness is easily observable and testable. Where's the cure for cancer? Where's the prevention of alzheimers? These are just basic examples, but science is not the answer to everything.

observation and testing does not a cure guarantee. I am not sure what your point is. Science doesn't hold all the answers. I agree. But how does that translate to teaching creationism in public schools?
