Ugh. That Sinestro Batman isn't even accurate. When he was recruited it was before the actual costuming existed.

Actually, I blame the mistake on the actual illustrator who did that because it was inaccurate. Sinestro already had the new costume on when he spread his yellow rings to fly.

I don't think Mattel is gonna reissue all the waves. Sooner or later fans are gonna have to come to terms with all the grails of this line.

WOW. That's totally ridiculous. Hopefully Mattel will see that this figure needs to be an All Star with the cnc part. No way they are going to offer up more sets after Wave 5 imo, especially Wave 8.

No. the ONLY reason this auction has that ridiculous price tag is the Gentleman Ghost. Now that Mattel has decided to re-issue wave 5, the floodgate has opened. They re-issue MOTU figures all the time and it's proven to be a cashcow. Just wait, I'd be SHOCKED if Mattel didn't re-issue this wave down the line.

What he said. You can find tons of DCUC stuff for sale or trade at that forum. I'd think there would be quite a few people who would give up the Giganta piece, since it's Gentleman Ghost they want to hold onto.

What I'm saying is that with all the hemming and hawwing Scott did about how Wave 11 & 12 didnt sell out, therefore didnt sell fast enough, making the Wave 5 & 13 the litmus for them going forward; I'd put money on a non sell out of both waves and a no go on any future cases.
I could be wrong, but MOTU is a TOTALLY different animal than DCU, so you cant use that as a gauge for what Mattel is going to do with DCU. Hell, Scott N has like 20 sticky post on Matty forums and like 4 in DCU. MOTU is his all time favorite, so DCU gets baldheaded step child love now.

Yeah, they're pretty fast and loose with their sales and what constitutes a 'success.' It's annoying, to say the least.

Got tired of waiting for bbts and picked up the Luthor/Skeletor pack. Mainly wanted Luthor, and he does not dissapoint. Swiped Brainiac's gun for him and loaded up the red kryptonite and have him mwahahaha-ing with the green in his free hand.

Skeletor's neat, for nostalgia's sake. I don't really mind that he has no havoc staff, but I DO NOT need to get into MOTUC. I was really tempted with Battle Cat's release, and now... anyone want a loose Comic Pack Skeletor?

I'm hoping Mattel will release a CLASSIC Supergirl. The Turner/exposed midriff bugs me and now I don't need her cus I got Lex.

CSC has the modern cheetah in its cheetah skin variant. I thought Mattel did not even offer these at all.
