I was looking at prices on ebay of some characters that I might be getting rid of and saw that Gentleman Ghost MOC is going for about $100+! I think people want that Giganta Head since loose versions of him were going for like $20. I remember Mattel in a recent Q&A stating they have no plans to re-release the Giganta Head so if you weren't lucky when that rare case that included GG was out, you are out of luck. I pre-orderd the wave so I got a set, but I feel bad for all the people that did not.

Hopefully, it is true that Walmart has increased their orders on their exclusives and that they will be easier to get.

Haha, yeah that ol' line of bull...even if they increase the orders, they WILL NOT be at your walmart, they are always at someone elses.

Someone posted a scan of wave 16.

Creeper looks real good and so does Kyle Rayner. Wonder if that size is accurate for the Bane figure? For a CnC figure I really don't want him to be way too high over Batman. Hopefully they used the Etrigan Body for Bane which I think would fit in more.

Those r bad ass!!! Was thinking of quitting the whole line> I have sc superheroes and dcc waves 1-11. But i like wave 16. Damn!!! What to do?????

Buddy, you just keep on rolling 'til you hit the wall; then you either crash or go through. :gah:
Honestly, that is a lot of stuff. You're just two waves behind and waves 12 and 13 aren't really all that hard to find. Just think. Mattel already announced (toyfare) that the Legion of Superheroes are coming and with the Green Lantern Classics line this really has to be a definitive toy line for Dc Characters.
Now if you quit you have to get rid of everything, because if you don't and a year down the line when 5 more waves has passed and you see what you missed you will kick yourself in the Booty and will not have a choice but to dump it all or pay the piper. :lecture :)
Oh did you guys hear that they will be re-visiting the characters they did for the dc superheroes line? Croc, anyone? Maybe they'll re-do doomsday as a CnC for a better scale. wanna get me some crow, scarecrow!!

As long as they're revisiting the DCSH, let's get a new, classic Supergirl. Pre-Reign of the Supermen or Pre-Crisis would be fine. Now Scarecrow on the other hand is an amazing figure still. If they re-do him hopefully it'll be in his Sinestro duds.

But I never got the scarecrow figure. I was one of those that saw these littering the shelves and turned my nose on them when they were out. :(

Anyhoo, I can't believe the wave 13 from Matty web sold out in one day. I hope this is a positive sign for Matty to try re-selling their past waves of future waves online.

That sucks, jester, and I was the same way when this line came out. I had to shell out on the 'bay for him a few months back, I wanna say I managed to get him for $20 or so. He's totally worth it.

I was following a post on ebay once and totally forgot the end date. Could have had him loose for 15.00.:gah:
I think I am gonna get my spear and troll around ebay right now.

They also confirmed that wave 5 sold very well, so it's looking good for other waves getting re-released in the future. I'd like to pick up another wave 3 set for the extra Sinestros. I think another good idea would be for Matty to have their own exclusive "All Star" figures, like Aquaman, Harley Quinn, etc.

I'm in the same boat...I have always collected 6" figures but lately so many of my lines are gone; Trek, Stargate...DCU is great but not the price. I am finding myself throwing a bunch up on ebay at a time to help pay for my 1:6 figures!

I know exactly how you guys feel, Wolvie and Hirogen. i seriously stick to action figures. Due to price and level of artistry in the figure. Now as I look at what is offered to us by the collectible industry, I have gone the route of Hot Toys figures for higher quality, for several reasons. The sculpt is amazing, the detail in these figures are just eerie from clothing to actual sculpture. You retain the articulation I am accustomed to with toy figures. The price range: 150 to 180 is what you would expect from a full sized Bowen piece. Look at the current Dc Dynamics line. Geesh I love those pieces, very beautiful but for the price I could get a Hot Toys figure with a better attention to detail. The 1/4 scale PF of Dc, I have never been impressed with, the closest being the wonder woman piece. But I just usually settle with the 13 inch dc deluxe figures and even with these I usually price hunt with a price tag of around 50-60 (shipping included) for a figure being acceptable.

im with you 12" figures are awesome!!! Specially Hot Toys!!! Thats what i might do PF's and Hot toys from now on!!! Really hard to give up 6" figures:( but we'll see.

I'm drifting in the opposite direction of you guys. I LOVE 1/6 figures and the quality continues to increase, but so does the price. I've been getting the SSC Joes, but even those I'm starting to pick and choose. I see it this way: I could get one super-cool figure for $150+ or I can get a bunch of cool figures for $120... it's a toss-up sometimes.

I agree wholeheartedly that 6" figs are dwindling, but I am in for the long haul with this line. This line will surpass Marvel Legends in character scope and selection, it's just a matter of time...
