Got these at Kmart today. Kyle has some stuck leg joints, and a warped left arm. Maash has a stuck leg joint as well. Everything else seems pretty good..other then some paint apps on Arkillo.

Kyle was the only figure from that wave that I didn't find at retail and I refuse to pay 30$ on ebay for him. Principle and all.

I was close to ebay for him, but held off for abit. Decided to stop by K-mart for no real reason, saw Maash and was like ooooh, looked at the figs behind him and then got excited when I saw Kyle. Decided to get Abin and Black Hand since I'm liking Blackest night, then figured might as well get the rest, since I do enjoy CnC figs.

Love that wave! Kinda disappointed with the Manhunters' size. I was hoping to build an army with them.

Switched some heads, I'm finding that I'm hunting down my dcd figures for their heads. :D

I'm kinda bummed. I found most of GLC wave 2 at TRU yesterday, minus Star Sapphire and the 3 pack with the cat, and I just could not pull the trigger. I looked at the 17.99$ price tag and could not bring myself to pay the asking price. First time it's happened and I don't know what to think :lol :panic: :monkey3 :monkey2

That's the one with stel? My friend decided to buy the whole wave and keep stel and sell out the rest loose on e-bay to get some of his money back. nice pic, BTW.:lol Is that from the DCUC?

Yup that's the wave. I realize I'm fooling myself though cause I'm gonna drop 40$ for Swamp Thing at SDCC! lol

the avatar? no it's not from DCUO, it's from a Powergirl pin up image. Powergirl has a big place in my DCU lovin' heart. I want to say it's because she's an amazing character but it's probably because she has huge boobs :D

That is a lot to pay, but this line is all like that, no matter where you buy. If you arent a completist, then the price needs to match your desire for the figure and vice versa. Sounds like TRU didnt have anything you really wanted to invest in, so no biggie. Be a sellector, it aint a crime. What's torturous is buying three Star Saphires, destroying two to finally find a third that actually works! Believe me, I know. In the end, I "have em all", but I'm not even invested in this "Star Saphire" clan of Johns. I think they are stupid, but I wasnt gonna let matty's f'd up qc have me without! Collect/sellect what you like, its your moolah!

If I weren't a completist on this line, my selection would consist of characters that I am interested in.

DCfett - I had to buy a second SSaphire to get on working fine and whole. Nuts to it. Just have to be careful now with figures with thin parts and soak it in hot water first to loosen the paint.

I figure, if the smaller marvel universe figures can have workable, small joints then DCUC should have no problem with theirs.

Very true. Both the ones I got I water treated the crap outta em and the hips and legs still exploded and tore. It's crazy that this is still a problem, but I'm sure they dont have their best working on this line. It seems like they bid these lines out or something and there is one or two of the suppliers that know their sheit, but there's one in there that's a total f-up! For some reason they have been the "go-to" guys on this last wave!
...that's complete conjecture, btw. :wink1:

I can't find Kyle or Sodam at retail so I haven't jumped into the DCUC forum until I do. The rest have been easy to spot.

I had heard that Kyle was a tad harder to find, which made me happy when i stubbled onto him at kmart. Sodam was fairly easy at first. My TRU had about 3 or 4 on the pegs, but now I can only find him at a Walmart about 30 minutes away.

Excellent reveal, IC. I'm excited for all figures. I'm glad they went back on the old style abdomen cut.
