Hi, Guys! Great place. Thanks to Boba Ben's and Buttmunch's post on pallet diving I was able to get a set of Wave 10! Yay!
I paid way too much for my wave 9 when BBTS wasn't able to cover my order. Almost turned me off on the whole line.
And I got my Target line for 80.00 on e-bay which I don't mind since the guy paid 15.00 on the free shipping. Now I'm back on track and hopefully the fiasco of wave 9 won't happen again.
I will say about the Target exclusive that I hope mattel does for future waves is the addition of the figure stands for each figure.

Glad you got your wave 10! Pallet Diving is really the only sure way of getting that wave. At least all of them at once. Nothing worse than only finding a few stragglers of a set left behind.

Question is the only one I plan on getting from that wave. The Kilowagg would be kind of cool, but I don't plan on collecting the entire Corps (only Jordan, and if made, Guy Gardner and G'nort), so I'll pass.

It will be the Color of Fear two pack. The 2 Sinestro Corp members. Now that we will have a decent sized Green Lantern Corp when series 11 is widely released, they'll need someone to fight right? And since it is too early for Black Lanterns, the Sinestro Corp will do just fine.

Not too exciting, in my opinion. Though I suspect the "Yellow Lantern" Sinestro variant will become harder to find once they are released.

Well, being that I only collect the Bat Family and rogues, I really don't pay too much attention to this line, but I wandered into a Wally World this morning and found a full set of wave 10, so I grabbed a Bats, Joker and Man-Bat. Awesome figures, especially Joker and Man-Bat.

Well, being that I only collect the Bat Family and rogues, I really don't pay too much attention to this line, but I wandered into a Wally World this morning and found a full set of wave 10, so I grabbed a Bats, Joker and Man-Bat. Awesome figures, especially Joker and Man-Bat.

And that is why I've predicted Man-Bat will be the hardest figure to find in this wave and evetunally the most valuable. Those that want a complete set to make the C&C figure won't be able to find Man-bat as easily because of the Batfamily collectors (this is not ment to insult you in any way mind you). So those not building the C&C could probably sell/trade the Man-bat part for quite a good price/trade.

Any in-hand pics of a completed Kilowog yet?

Not yet as far as I know. I want to see him finished too! I'll at least have a leg of his around Wednesday with my Question

I've been noticing a really disturbing trend around the San Diego area. it seems someone or a group of people are going around town and stealing BAF pieces out of packages. I've come across 4 different figures, package torn apart and BAF missing. And not at the same store either but all over town. Also, some ????head has been returning figures with, you guessed it, BAF pieces gone. arrhh this pisses me off to no end. The worst part is that I tell the store employees and they couldn't give a rats ass. they're like "oh yeah, someone will buy them" but no collector will buy these and all the time they sit there taking up pegs and no wave 10. So infuriating.

Take em to customer service...they will label it as damaged and it shouldn't return to the floor.

I think part of the problem is how long some DC collectors have been waiting 2 1/2 years for this figure. Mattel promised this figure back in 2007 but since the DCSH line got canceled they never released the brown Man-Bat. I along with MANY DCSH fans were highly pissed that Mattel didn't release this figure earlier. The work was already done on it and all they had to do was put it into production. You'd think that Mattel would have put him in Wave 1 or 2. It would have been a great way to transition from DCSH to DCUC.



I also don't think we'll get a refresh of this figure. The Joker is scheduled to get re released next year but Man-Man I don't think so.


They also could have done some kind of 2 pack or even put Man-Bat in the Gotham 5 pack. I still don't understand why Luthor and Supes came in a Gotham pack. Mattel would have done much better releasing 2 different 5 packs; one Gotham and one Metropolis. Gotham could have been Bats, Man-Bat, Catwoman, Two Face, and Batgirl. Metropolis could be Supes, Luthor, Brainiac, Parasite, and Bizarro. One new figure for each 5 pack and 4 redecos.

...not to mention that they'll probably sit around even longer now that the Supes and Bats from the 5-pack are being re-released in wave 11.

So I bit on a DCSH Batman and Batgirl 2-pack on ebay, it came out to thirty-six and some change including shipping. I keep telling myself I can never have enough Batmen, but now that I have the Classic 70's, 90's Morrison and PE ones, I'm gonna need a shelf just for Batman characters...

Mattel needs to get off their collective keister and release that ???? Grayson Robin everyone's clamoring for (and I need to get the Tim and Nightwing WGSH). This line is my new plastic crack. Damn you, Mattel.

Yeah, I still need catwoman from that five pack. I missed out on the azrael and batgirl two pack. And I missed out on nightwing, tim drake robin, and therefore pieces of grundy I could have a start on collecting already. But I am only collecting batman. I have to say though, If I had the money..there have been some really cool figures in this line that I wouldn't be able to resist getting. That black manta was sweet, so was deathstroke. Deadman looks especially cool.
