Nice to see that certain trolls have been given a time-out. For awhile there I wasn't even visiting the thread due to the bad vibes it was giving off... yikes. Anyhoo, I have no idea about Public Enemies series 2, but picked up the black PE Batman on Sunday and have mixed feelings about him. The head wasn't that badly misshapen, but I still trimmed off some of his right side with an exacto... only to find that his head is grey plastic painted black. Nothing a sharpie and micron couldn't fix, though. I also tightened the eyes and 'dry-lined' his mouth and it looks a tad less bland. Really disappointed that his glove and boot tops are only painted on, but otherwise a decent figure. I have him in a DKR 'Jumping out of the tank' pose that I think would look really great if Mattel gets off their ^^^ and ever releases those flying stands...
 
I think that Power Girl was a fluke for me. I went back to that same WM and found only the lone Blue Beetle that's been there for months.

The Target exclusive wave I'm torn on. If I find them, I'll likely buy them as I want to have a Brimstone for my shelf (box in the closet). I'm really not at all keen on the headsculpts for any of the figures. Bleh.
 
It looks to be a good sub-set of the overall DCUC, imho. Sorta cross between JLU and DCUC. Would have been really nice if they had added the swappable heads, but for that matter, it would have been nice if they'd have shipped on time with the movie too! :)
My understanding is that the Facebook page was updated stating that Mattel doesnt even have samples yet of wave 2. That doesnt bode well this close to the holidays and I'm definitely not confident that Matty can pull a rabbit outta hat, but maybe these will drop on 12/24! Always gotta do that night b 4 xmas run!

Same here. Just bad vibes all around this forum have been turning me off to it recently--but those two in this thread specifically.

Anyway, got Joker today thanks to a kind member of another forum! Looks great, though I haven't taken him out of the package yet. Ran across Mister Miracle over the weekend and am glad I picked him up. He is probably one of my very favorite figures at this point, up there with Hawkman and Blue Beetle. Just a cool, colorful, iconic-looking figure.
 
Still haven't seen these anywhere around me in new jersey. I did however get a secret files dcd poison ivy. Other then the fact that she's towering over everyone, i like it alot. Estrella mountain comics...really cheap site. I'm also worken on a custom catwoman, bane, killer moth, and damien wayne robin.

I too am a big fan of Mister Miracle. I don't think I've ever read a story with him in it, but there's just something about his Kirby design and those primary colors that makes him stand out and just look all sorts of cool. Man, this line keeps getting me to collect characters I've never read or don't care for just because they're so well done.

I've only been collecting these since the beginning of the year and I'm quickly running out of shelf space...

I'm just hoping Mattel doesn't shortchange online retailers again. That really sucked with wave 9.

And it is looking like Deadman is the common variant and Steppenwolf is the chase. I don't know how that will effect online retailers as they were told the otherway around. But that is just in the initial cases found so far, so it might not be accurate to go by.

I'm going to have a Mattel over dose soon. :sick It seems that every other week Mattel is releasing a new wave.

I think I now know why Sideshow doesn't get that much of my money anymore...Mattel get's all of it. :monkey1
 
Off topic, but your signature reminds me of something I saw today. A girl was walking around with black hair, huge, white-rimmed sunglasses and a red shirt and pants. She looked like a female Plastic Man, and made me chuckle :lol

Hey Buttmunch, anyway we could get some DC related emoticons? :huh Seems this is one of the livliest sections of the site and there are no related emoticons. I don't know how we could get em, but I think they would be cool.
 
Just ordered a Mr. Terrific and a Kid Flash (cus my Atom Smasher is sans right arm) to flesh out my ranks. I'm getting impatient now for wave 11... I sympathize with those still trying to catch up on like the last five waves and should probably shut up now... :angelsmil
