Scored them both in Sugarhouse- thanks, man!

Can't believe these were still shipping but also didn't realize they were TRU exclusives 'cause I saw them at the lcs months ago.

They're not really TRU exclusives. No idea why they've got those stickers.

And I had no idea you were a local! Maybe you should change your Amity Island location to Antalope Island :lol

I got my set of Wave 11 from Matty Collector the other day. Both Steppen Wolf's are still sealed in the box and I just opened Cyberborg Superman and Shark to get the Kilowog pieces.

I think its a "exclusive" case assortment...found the same thing at TRU this week. The case pack out contains at least figs from 7 & 9. There are other reports popping up about these in other areas.

Why no love for Cyborg Supes? You got three GLs from this wave! They got to fight somebody!

To be honest, I don't know?! I tend to like the heroes more in this line. I usually like collecting villain figures, but most of the villains just aren't doing it for me.

I got a very pleasant surprise in the mail this weekend - DC Universe Classics wave 11! I'd ordered these from an online retailer so long ago, that I'd completely forgotten, and assumed I'd have to hunt them up locally. Now, thanks to that long ago pre-order, all I need to find is the variant Deadman.

I'm splitting this review up into two parts. Tonight I'll be looking at Cyborg Supes, Shark, The Question and Steppenwolf. Later this week, I'll cover the other three figures plus the BAF. Suffice to say this entire wave is exceptional with very few issues.

I also have a guest review up from Jeff Parker, who's looking at the Mars Attacks Cosbaby figures from Hot Toys. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Both the Poppies AND the People's Choice voting will go live on Tuesday, so watch for that! Thanks for reading,

I found Wildcat, Black Canary, Deadshot, and Mantis in a TRU in NYC, but at the increased price of $15.99 I passed.

I still want a Martian Manhunter and classic Robin, but after that I'm done.
This has been a great line so far, but at $16 a pop I can't keep getting every character.
:(

True, it is sad that they are increasing the price on these figures. They are mass market, so I don't see the justification for the price increase, especially when the buck body is used on most of the figures.

Hey all, does anyone here happen to know who is in charge of the Justice League Unlimited line over at Mattel?

From Matty:

Finally, a bit of a personnel changeover to let everyone know about. Spectacular Scott Neitlich (better known as "Toy Guru" on the message boards) who has been handling the marketing reigns for the last two years will be heading over to work on the new live action Green Lantern film for 2011 (we work ahead at Mattel...) while Maniac Mike Wilde (fresh off his stint on the awesome Avatar line) will be heading in to take over the DC Universe for 2010. Mike is also a huge DC fan and knows his stuff well, so your favorite characters are in very good hands.

I'm wrapping up my look at DC Universe Classics wave 11 tonight with John Stewart, Katma Tui, Deadman and Kilowog. And yes, this entire wave rocks, but it's Kilowog that'll probably be the stand out for most folks.

I also have a guest review up from Phil Costanzo, who's looking at the Cinema of Fear Michael Myers based on the Halloween II remake. It seems appropriate with the DVD release today! You can check out all the reviews at the usual:

The voting for the People's Picks for 2009 also starts tonight! You'll find the link off the main page as well, and the Poppies industry awards are using the exact same ballot this year, so we'll be able to compare the final results head to head! The voting is only open for two weeks, so get your votes in now.

Just voted!!!! I think all the main guys got atleast one vote from me :D

I still kind of prefer the look of the DCD Kilowog... it seems to match up a bit better with my memory of him. Awesome looking series though :rock

Not hating on anyone who digs DC Direct or that Kilowog in particular, but man... folks complain about DCUC's 'flat crotch' syndrome? Poor DCD 'Wog barely has any crotch at all...

Snagged a Vigilante this morning while I was out. Don't know too much about the character, but as with most of DCUC, he's executed wonderfully. I must admit I primarily grabbed him for the M-16, which my 5-pack Two-Face immediately inherited.

I'm running out of room, Mattel! And that's not a bad thing!
