Great display case. I should treat my figures with such respect. I've run out of space on my shelves and I have wave 12 figures stacked like firewood.

I see now that the rumor was true that wave 14 is a walmart exclusive. I was hoping never have to do pallet diving again. Arrgh!

Well, if Wave 10 is any indication of wave 14, Wal-mart will order plenty. I saw the entire wave multiple times after I found my initial pallet dive set. Alan Scott, Zantanna, and Gold are the only ones I want in addition to the Ultra Humanite. So unfortunatley that is just enough to make pallet diving an option again. I just hope one of those 3 doesn't end up with a stupid blue base. But knowing our luck, the figure most people want is the one that usually gets the stand since we won't be buying that figure for the C&C piece so we end up buying all 7 figures

My Wal mart is crammed with the imperiex wave, we have an entire endcap full, along with a few pegs in the regular sections. Hurts getting new freight so honestly in that department, exclusive waves hurt a bit.

As for forcing us to buy everything i'd say the kilowogg wave wasn't too bad actually, since steppenwolf got the stand i don't have to get him, the only one i have to get that i don't like is shark, so not too bad.

Nice pics, everyone. Holy hell, Wave 13 is showing up already!!! I was totally going to cherry pick this wave but now... DAMN YOU MATTEL AND YOUR PLASTIC CRACK!!!!

Ahem. Anyhoo, I got my Grundy today! He's HUGE. Love 'im. I might have to bust out my old camera (it uses floppy disks and is generally lame all round) and post a few of my collection...

Wave 13 is out in your parts, Swift? The waves are coming out so quickly I wonder why Mattel is only revealing wave 14 now. Heck when Wave 9 was coming out we already knew what figures will be in 10, 11 and 12.

Yeah Mattel is weird when it comes to revealing waves. We'll be lucky if we know 15 before SDCC. I mean the Imperiex wave was only revealed at SDCC and came out only 2 or 3 months later. Hardly any build up time.

Do you live somewhere in OC California? Because there's a nearby WM that is carrying 23 PGs and a Captain Cold by me.

Just to clarify: there are people getting wave 13 through ebay and LCS. I don't think they've shown up at retail yet. I'm just irked because I've yet to find 12 at retail or have my bbts order filled. I'm all for having these come out quickly, but not when all of us are reporting Wal-marts crammed with PG's or wave 7 and TRUs and Targets that either have nothing or just a couple (OLD) figures. Makes me nervous that they won't move product, and then the retailers will say they don't sell... etc... I just have a feeling these will end up online exclusives before they're cancelled completely...

But dang if I won't enjoy them while they're going strong.

Mattel is shipping out half cases of waves. I am sure that CSC has parts of wave 13 now but they won't release them or admit to it because they want to get the full wave before filling out orders.
I heard from a WM associate that one guy spent over 300.00 at one time and cleaned out the shelves except for PGs, so they're moving quick and way fast.
I just wish wave 6 and 7 would run out in inventory so they would stop sending them to stores.

I went on an all out hunt yesterday from the Mexican border to north county here in San Diego and it's baron out here. Not one single indication that wave 11 or 12 are out. Spent 40$ in gas though, so you know...that was fun.

I rarely ever "hunt" anymore. My experience with the 25th Anniversary GI Joes taught me that it is ultimately much less costly in time, money, and hassle to just pay the EBay/BBTS/etc. markups and get them that way. Plus, no fun in "hunting" when you rarely if ever find what you are looking for.
