Darkseid will definitely rack up some dollar signs on the aftermarket, one of the reasons I already pre-ordered wave 12. I'm only getting the wave for Darkseid, Mid-nite, the Spectre and maybe Copperhead.

In the same vein, I kind of want to finish Atom Smasher since these jerks are making more JSA characters... so much for only getting the Justice League!

I just ordered 12 as well. I want enough of them and Darkseid to make it worthwhile. I would order 13 but of the rumored figures, I only want Cheeta. So that would just be easier to track down by herself than pay over $100 to get her and try to sell of the rest.

Wish I would have known, I would have offered a fellow freak a discount for sure. He is a terrific toy, but I didn't need him. So now he is gone. Soon thereafter I find out the Golden Age JSAers will get some DCUC love, but who will they fight now? :(

I really need to get a Grundy. But I don't have the money to go crazy for it right now.

i would like to publicly thank Incurable Collector for thinking of me. He was out at a local store and picked up a green arrow and black canary for me. Thanks a million..my fiance was probably going to kick my ass if couldnt get those 2 for the wedding cake. If i end up getting any of my cases i will offer up the extras here for cost (cause one good turn deserves another) thanks again to I.C for being a great boardmember.

That reissue of Power Girl might be correct. BBTS has her up for preorder as well along with the TRU Exclusive 2 packs from last year. There seems to be a new case out of 2 packs that will reissue the original 2 packs plus the Lex / Supergirl 2 pack. If you missed out on any of the 2 packs you can preorder them now.

Hmmm... that does seem to be the case. Strange. I wonder how Wal-mart feels about PowerGirl being released again so early.

Oh well! :lol

I hope that Mattel makes the Joker a re-release figure as well. Making one, if not THE, most popular DC villain an exclusive is crazy on Mattel's part.

Yeah, that was THE stupidest move in the entire line. THE JOKER a Wal-mart EXCLUSIVE! I mean what the crap were they thinking? And why re-release Power Girl before him? Kids and casual collectors will pick up Joker for sure. Power Girl not so much.

I've already said I'm only getting the Lanterns (that is if I find Abin and Hal) but I want the Super Powers inspired Joker just for nostalgia's sake and the fact its a Wal-Mart exclusive really drives me nuts. My Wally World hasn't restocked anything since Wolverine: Origins from any line so I've committed to going to eBay for that one.

This line is impossible to find, count me out guys I am done. :( And I just got my Aquaman too.

And that is why this line will die within a year unless Mattel steps up. People want this figures, but if they can't get them easily, many are going to bail out. Its just not worth the headache.

I posted this before, but I disagree. Too many OCD comic geeks who would walk over coals for these things. I don't think it won't die unless the quality, sculpting, or figure choices somehow go really awry. Eventually interest may fade and something better may come along, but not in a year I don't think.

Plus, the after-market prices aren't that bad, really, except for the Wal-Mart wave.

No problem Chris, glad I could help :duff

You can count me as one of those "geeks."

I hate to say it but I love these figures too much to drop the line. Mattel as a company sucks. It's sad but it's true. I am guilty of paying outrageous prices for figures myself BUT I HAVE TO HAVE THEM. I've been asking for a DC line like this ever since Super Powers got canceled.

If Mattel raised the price to $20 a figure, like MOTUC, I'd still buy them.
