thanks for the pictures Pixletwin and Maulfan

Maulfan your pictures are always so freakin clear and crisp!
Which reminds me - I cant wait to see your pictures of Yoda when he arrives!

Thanks Sean, hope they help, and hope it works out for you, I'm sure you'll figure out some solution. At least, even though you hate seeing something like that happen with a high end piece, you've got one of these bad boys and the damage is relatively minor and can be dealt with fairly reasonably, so in the end, it should all pan out for you.

I wonder why the pic FrankenFan posted shows a clasp.

Now that I look at that picture and the quality, I think it's an image of the proto, here's a picture of the proto at TF from Rebelscum, looks like the proto had a full stud and then for some reason, they opted the final method that we have in hand.

Im glad they removed the stud from the back of the ear - it looks better with it just in the front

I posted this earlier and was wondering -

what type of glue should I use? what is accelerant....I have never really done custom work before. :rotfl

I would use something like a medium strength epoxy or JB Weld, don't trust superglue in this case.

Agreed, something just looks to, everyday in the prototype, and just the silver inside his ear gives is a simple, otherworld feel, like it's something decorative he melded to his body, not that I imagine I'll ever display my bust anywhere you'd see from behind, but still like how it turned out.
