Yeah I have both Gaikings from SOC. The Daiku Maryu and the actual bigger version of Gaiking. One of my favorite robots. Watched it all the time as a kid.

As for that Fewture Shin Getter...holy **** he looks amazing. I remember hearing things about his wings being very fragile? Do they feel fragile. Its a shame they didn't continue the Fewture Shin Getter line. Then again they went on to do Getter G team. Now I know I said Gaiking is one of my faves but Getter Dragon is my all time favorite super robot.

my wings broke the moment I picked them out of the box. I was very careful to pick them up but the plastic around the area when you move the wing just came apart very easily. i guess is the luck of the draw on that one

looking for a replacement set now

Yeah it might be luck of the draw then. TJ statement about the wings makes sense, but what you said Wavestuff sounds about like what I was hearing. Again I dont have in hand experience with this guy but I just remember hearing bad things about the wings.

Overall TJ yours looks solid. Great shots. Shin Eagle is awesome also, such a great ship design.

From what I've read, they're either junk or they're not, so glad I lucked out.

Hey, thank you guys. Really appreciated!


Furthering out the SRW complimentary collection, I got Volks' Lioh in today. Definitely a favorite in that he feels mostly ABS plastic and has good poseability.

Also, big up to T16Skyhopp. Thanks to him, I found great listings on Fewture Getter 3 and Black Getter 2. Hopefully they can be here by the end of the week on top of Getter 1 being here tomorrow.
