Republican HQ Manager's Home Shot Up Over McCain Signs
'Democrats Far More Aggressive in Seminole County,' Victim Says

LONGWOOD, Fla. -- The home of a Central Florida Republican headquarters manager was shot up and damaged over his support of Sen. John McCain, the man told police.

Rog Coverely said several pellets pierced his Longwood home. Coverely showed several spiderwebbed-holes in the front windows of his home.

The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home.

"All I can tell you is this, I have a very good relationship with my neighbors," Coverely said. "I mow my lawn. The only thing that has changed is I have two McCain signs in my front yard."

Coverely said he has taken about 300 calls concerning stolen or vandalized McCain signs in the area.

"It says this campaign is getting vicious," Coverely said.

Coverely said it appears Democrats are becoming more aggressive in the county.

"I wouldn't say slipping, but I would say the Democrats have become far more aggressive in Seminole County because it is such a heavy Republican area," Coverely said.

Really I think all this stuff tells you more about the animosity people feel about the last 8 years than anything else. Its something every politician should pay attention to.

Seriously, does anyone think there won't be riots and lots of civil unrest if Obama were to lose? Unfortunately, I'd say that's a damn certainty at this point.

The mindset now is that it's a Fait Accompli. To many, if McCain were to somehow pull it off it would only be because of one (or both) of the following:

1. "Racism!"

2. "The Republicans stole the election!"

Trust me, there will be badness if McCain pulls off an upset win.

Well, like I said in one of the other threads, already existed 8 years ago when W. first won the election and immediately Dems cited fraud in Florida and moaned about the popular vote in the following election.

I see this whole attitude being most directly involved with the impeachment of Clinton and the subsequent Bush victory in 2000, the next 8 years is just icing on the cake...but to some extent, the disatisfaction with Bush was manufactured within months of him coming into office. While I think Bush has huge flaws, he's gotten a bad break with 9/11, Katrina, bad intel on Iraq, bad loans, and now the market crash.

If Obama was running the country during that time, I have little doubt we'd be negotiating a truce with our now supreme Iranian and Russian leaders.

The politically partisan animosity actually started in the 60's and 70's with the whole JFK/LBJ/Nixon lineage. And then it erupted again when the Dems were crushed by Reagan in the 80's.

I'm too young to acknowledge any of that. :D

Well the republicans already stole one election (probably)

And yes i can hear calls of racism for sure. Or if bama got assassinated in his term can you imagine the riots?

Ventura 2012!

Didn't something like this happen in the primaries between Hillary and Obama people? I mean, serisouly, why don't people learn how to get along with others who share different political views? This is disgusting. And why did no one come to her aid? I am sure the carving took some time...someone should have seen it and tried to help.

Serisouly though, Obama and McCain supporters need to chill.

A little off topic, but this is how you handle people who piss you off:

Props to the McCain supporters in the video. And the lady in the story provoked no one, unlike this *******. Anyway, the McCain people handled it well.

I was not aware of that. Can you send me a link to where you got this info from?

Do your own research! Besides a willingly blind person can't see 2 inches in front of them.:D (like there's absolute proof...typical!)

(it's mostly a personal view)
